Description:

Miss France 2008, Valérie Bègue, whose crown was threatened since publication of suggestive photographs in a magazine, held a press conference Friday, December 28 in the living room of the Royal Hotel Royal Monceau in Paris.  She will retain her title but will not participate in either 2008 Miss Universe or Miss World 2008.

The pageant's criteria stipulates that candidates must "never have posed or exhibited (themselves) in dubious outfits or poses, partially or totally nude." The photos published in Entrevue magazine last week included one of a bikini-clad Bègue lying on a cross in a swimming pool and another of her licking what appeared to be yogurt or evaporated milk.

We, the undersigned, urge the Miss France organizers to change their mind and let Valérie Bègue compete for Miss Universe. These pictures should not hold her back.

Allez Valerie on est tous deriere toi c'est toi al plus belle et c'est toi qui doit nous representer

Although Valeria was wrong to pose those pictures, but it was 3 years ago ! Let's see Tara Conner, MIss USA 2006. She was much worse ! I think Valeria should have the right to compete Miss Universe 2008 held in my country, Vietnam.
