GLOBAL WARMING...A GLOBAL WARNING...OR CONSEQUENCE??
global warming doesn't only affect us. plants and animals are becoming extinct because of us. i live on the beach and the sea levels are rising rapidly. we gotta do something about this or we'll all suffer sooner or later.
more people need to care about this!!! global warming is a big issue and not many people are trying to help.we need to all work together this is supposed to be the UNITED states!!! SO HELP US STOP IT!!!! ?bailey? :) :)
i agree!
If you want to find out how to really make an impact on this issue please visit www.projecthotseat.org Greenpeace is completely focused on raising awareness and getting poeple involved. I had the oppurtunity to meet with both Massa and Kuhl and tell them where I stand on this issue. It's a great group and they make it very easy for anyone to get involved and make an impact. It's well worth your time.
I'll start by feeding my gassy friend some beano and gas x to lessen his methane output!!!!
We are in deep **** and we need to realise that. However, if we just put in a bit of effort, we can stop it. We should we not be able to change the world?
Assuming that we can stop global warming - at what temp. point do we want it stopped? How is that decided? Who controls the point at which is stopped? How can we be certain that it will be stopped at the point? How can we be confident that he (she or it) will not take us too far back to global cooling? Or maybe global cooling is really ok? Does Al Gore have a financial interest in heating oil or winter clothing or what?
global warming is contributed by climate change, climate change is contributed mainly by humans, our water levels are increasing ,and the ice-bergs are melting at a rapid speed, polar bears build homes under water to have their young and that's their way of living, without them their speices will decrease.we contribute to global warming, and climate change by factories not lowering their emissions, also car emissions, and many more things we do with out a thought or care, I think we should get the government to open their eyes and do something for this planet we live on ,for we vote for them, why can't they do what needs to be done!
I'm in Debate class, and this is somewhat what we're debating about. Stuff involving PTC's (Production Tax Credits), Global Warming, wind turbines, all that. We've done some practice debates in my class. Affirmative is the good side that you should vote for if you were in my class, and Negative is the don't-vote-for. In the last practice debate, Neg was saying that Global Warming is not that much of a threat and it's not moving at a sufficient rate, and it's nothing to worry about. I was on the Aff team, and after that, it was easy for me; I basically said that Global Warming IS a threat, it will be a bigger threat in the future, and the smart choice is to act now. Aff won, like it always does in our class! I signed this petition.
C'mon we can do this!
