Description:

What is the big deal with weed? I smoke it (occasionally!) there are no harmful side-effects and when you think about it, it helps the economy. When you are high, you get the munchies, that puts $$ into the economy by buying random snacks.

Alcohol is a lot worse for you anyway. Think how many people die a year from using it compared to alcohol? and besides it makes you want to lay around all day, most people will be to lazy to drive at all. Alcohol makes you want to go do something.

I believe that smoking should be outlawed, but if the government refuses to make cigarettes illegal, then why should Marijuana not be? By keeping cigarettes legal, they are basically contradicting themselves completely. And, if anything, Marijuana should be legal and cigarettes not since Marijuana in some cases can be medically beneficial.

there have been numerous studies proclaiming the medicinal qualities of cannabis. It is widely prescribed to cancer patients...in a synthetic form.. It is also known to help with depression. What is everybody so scared of. LEGALIZE IT

First off it does have side effects. Have you ever seen anyone who has smoked it for years and years....they tend to be brain dead. It kills brain cells!!!!!!!I don't know about you but I need all mine. And did you know that if cows eat it, they die.....It is againist the law for a reason, keep it that way.

There is actually no proof that marijuana kills brain cells... The studies that came to that lovely conclusion were actually suffocating the monkeys! Suffocation kills brain cells, not marijuana.

My brother has been smoking for 35 years he has held a successful career for 30 years and can beat anyone in a game of jepordy, get a grip. (if cows eat it) come on!

I've been reading your comments and was impressed by your attitude and intelligence...until now. You obviously know nothing about the subject. I never thought, after all these years, that pot at the very least , wouldn't be de-crimininalized....at the least! However, now it comes down to the revenue and the ridiculousness of jailing innocent people. If you want to make a difference....look at alcohol consumption and the clear implications of addiction there!

I think all of it should be illegal. It does have side effect and it does kill. I am a recovering drug addict and alcoholic. So i think I know what Iam talking about here.I did my time in rehab and I am all better been that way for 18 years now.

Actually, I don't give a **** about smoking it. I just want farmers in the US to be able to grown HEMP. It is great veg protein, makes killer clothing, and has a ton of other benefits. As long as weed is illegal, hemp will never be allowed to grow.

Ive been around people who smoke weed and i didn't see anything out of the ordinary. No highs even though they said they were. One guy acted tired(or relaxed) but other than that nothing so i agree with you even though i dont smoke weed.

no matter how much people may want weed to be legal, the government cannot tax it.(you can grow it just about anywhere) Therefore, it will never be legalized.

It is legal on a federal basis, for 12 people, so why not expand on that? Just becuase Daddy Bush did not approve of the program he called a halt to it except for the then 13 people in the group (one has since passed away).
