Description:
We, the undersigned fans, want Moonlight renewed for a second season. Moonlight makes staying in on a Friday night worthwhile. How can you even think of getting rid of Mick St. John, Private Investigator and good vampire?
my fav show ever...i LOVE moonlight...its not fair to punish moonlight for their poor advertisement...and its not moonlights fault that it happened to be in its first season during the writers strike...if it had been more publicized, with better commercials (the advertisements used for the show didnt make it seem worth watching) and if it hadnt had its first season during the writers strike it would have sooooo many viewers...i like it even better than heroes...which is saying a lot...
It must comeback!!!!!!!!
I watched Moonlight from the very beinning when it aired on CBS. After Sonata aired I refused and all these montrhs later still refuse to watch CBS. Moonlight was & still remains one of the best quality television shows ever produced not only beccause of the amazing chemistry of it's cast members, but also because of it's writers who have us great stories each week and left us wanting more.
There is still so much more of the story left to tell. We want to know did Mick & Beth seal the deal when the door closed at the end of Sonata ? We want to know who sent Talbot that list ? We want to know more about Josef & his history, We want to know if the secret that Beth & Josef shareed Click is going to come back to bite them ? We want to know if Mick ever sired anyone & if so who ? We want to know more about Logan,Guillermo, The Cleaners & The entire Vampire Nation, We want to see more of Josef & Simone's story, we want to know what happened with Lance & Coraline. Please bring it back and give us a second season
I posted (or thought I did) this Friday night as I was watching Moonlight on the SciFi Channel @ 8:00pm CST. Hopefully this is a good sign!!! Maybe they will take the series & run with it carrying it thru a Season 2. Maybe everyone should e-mail SciFi & let them know they are doing a good thing!!!!
Please bring on season 2!
I realy liked Moonlight! - One of the best TV Vampire shows ever! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!
I was not too sure about this show at first, but after watching a few episodes I love it! I really want to see the story progress further. Please for a season 2!
So few shows are good. Bring on season 2

Moonlight was a greeat Friday night show. Now I have to wait for Sundays on HBO for Trueblood.
this is such a great so lets get it back.(IF Family Guy can get renewed from dvd sales so can Moonlight
Moonlight was fresh, it re-"vamped" (pun intended) the vampire storyline and genre. I loved the clean fresh look. I recently boasted about the show to my fiance only to find out I probably wasn't going to be able to show her how great of a show it was. BRING IT BACK! Please.
BRING MOONLIGHT BACK!!
Moonlight needs to make a come back.
Please bring moonlight back
Now, if it works with nuts to bring "Jericho", we the fans of MOONLIGHT will send you cotton tips, for that you can clean your ears, and ear our work around the world to save MOONLIGHT!!!

""Moonlight OPEN LETTER TO CBSJune 26, 2008
An Open Letter to CBS:
Christine Contilli – Sponsor
Official Moonlight Blood Drive
Dear Mr. Moonves and Ms. Tassler;
I am the sponsor of The Official Moonlight Blood Drive which took place back in April.
You may be interested to know that we collected 3,165 pints of blood over thirty states during those five days – for Moonlight! Since each pint of blood has the potential to save 3 lives; Moonlight was directly responsible for saving 9,500 lives!
On the other hand, Jericho fans mailed CBS 20 tons of peanuts! I have no wish to detract from a very well organized and executed campaign on the part of Jericho fans, however , when you look at the charitable efforts of Moonlight fans ( blood donations, bone marrow testing, donations to The Greater Los Angeles Food Bank, and cash donations, in the triple digits, designated to The L.A. County Chapter of the American Red Cross), I am at a loss as to the logic of opting to reward the Jericho fans with a second season for doing wonders for the peanut crop revenue and donating to a single small town in Kansas where the show was filmed; while denying Moonlight fans, who’s efforts had life saving potential across the entire country, the same courtesy? I might also add that Jericho fans were granted access to the show’s cast – which must have resulted in a huge boost in morale, while we were, in effect, handicapped by CBS by their reluctance to allow Moonlight cast members the same opportunity for photo ops or appearances with the fans during our campaigns…
Jericho fans did not take advantage of their “second chance” by retaining or increasing viewership; however, you may be interested to know that – despite Moonlight being cancelled - we have joined with Alex O’Loughlin to sponsor a whole new series of blood drives to be held over the summer and during the entire month of September!
Moonlight fans are still committed to, and proud of, the contribution we have made to communities all across the nation – yet the community that gained the most from our blood drives was located in CBS’s own backyard – the greater Los Angeles area...
Just because the blood drives did not result in CBS having something tangible coming through your door and taking up space in your offices; the blood donations had a much greater impact because the very blood of Moonlight’s fans was given to save lives!
Not only did Moonlight fans never receive a letter praising our efforts from Nina Tassler or anyone else at CBS, we were rewarded by having our show cancelled!
Here is a copy of Ms. Tassler’s letter to Jericho fans announcing that CBS would be granting Jericho a “stay of execution”:
June 6, 2007
To the Fans of Jericho:
Wow!
Over the past few weeks you have put forth an impressive and probably unprecedented display of passion in support of a prime time television series. You got our attention; your emails and collective voice have been heard.
As a result, CBS has ordered seven episodes of "Jericho" for mid-season next year. In success, there is the potential for more. But, for there to be more "Jericho," we will need more viewers.
A loyal and passionate community has clearly formed around the show. But that community needs to grow. It needs to grow on the CBS Television Network, as well as on the many digital platforms where we make the show available.
We will count on you to rally around the show, to recruit new viewers with the same grass-roots energy, intensity and volume you have displayed in recent weeks.
At this time, I cannot tell you the specific date or time period that "Jericho" will return to our schedule. However, in the interim, we are working on several initiatives to help introduce the show to new audiences. This includes re-broadcasting "Jericho" on CBS this summer, streaming episodes and clips from these episodes across the CBS Audience Network (online), releasing the first season DVD on September 25 and continuing the story of Jericho in the digital world until the new episodes return. We will let you know specifics when we have them so you can pass them on.
On behalf of everyone at CBS, thank you for expressing your support of "Jericho" in such an extraordinary manner. Your protest was creative, sustained and very thoughtful and respectful in tone. You made a difference.
Sincerely,
Nina Tassler
President, CBS Entertainment
P.S. Please stop sending us nuts
Once bitten, twice shy is a cliché, not a rule of thumb for a network to operate under.
I respectfully ask, on behalf of Moonlight’s eight million fans, that CBS kindly take the time when reading this letter and, to quote Ms. Tassler’s letter to Jericho fans above; please hear our emails, our collective voices and our efforts and grant us another season of Moonlight?
The most precious gift one can give is the gift of life!
Sincerely,
Christine Contilli""
