I just found out that USA is thinking of picking up Moonlight for its second season. If your a true fan who wants to save the show, please vote!!! Go to www.usanetwork.com and register (it only takes a minute and is worth it to try to save moonlight). Then go to extras, then usa message board under communities, then usa character lounge. on the second page there is a poll to bring moonlight to usa! We need everyone's help! Please vote!!!!! I love moonlight it is a great show. The problem is the networks are stupid when it comes to timeing. Bet you anything in that time slot over the years has been cancelled, wonder why? Maybe it is because people have other things to do Friday evenings. If it is a show that the fans really love then change where it is in the lineup.... It may surprise them. I have not watched TV since the last episode of Charmed aired. I was shown three series by a friend. One was USA's Burn Notice which is now in its second season. Two was CBS's Shark a lawyers version of House. I do hope that no one is planning to duplicate it. The third is Moonlight. I play white wolf so having a good vampire show is a dream come true. I have not seen a good vampire show ever. As you can see I am not a Buffy fan. The show started from a very cheesey movie. I was not impressed with the very few episodes I did watch. Angel was nothing more than a spin off. Monlight is orginal and funny. If it really is cancelled for good than I will stop watching TV again. The networks don't care about the public's ideas on a good show. They only care about how much money they are making i.e. corporate opinion. Cancel Moonlight?!!! No way. I am so tired of all of my favorite shows being cancelled left and right.The people who make these decisions are so not in touch with their viewers!! I think Mick St.John is the best thing since sliced bread. The show was absolutely not given a fair run, with only 4-5 episodes because the writers went on strike. Why should a good show suffer because of that. Bring it back, give it a chance Submitted by Moe V. on Mon, 07/21/2008 - 17:48

Friday nights will never be the same. i've downloaded all of season 1 on my ipod and when i need some Mick, i just watch. The fall will really suck if there's no moonlight. Can't some other network pick up this show? We used to sit as a family and my teens and i looked forward to G Whisperer and especially Moonlight. What other show can do that? Get rid of all the reality junk and bring back the imaginative, interesting writing. There are still intelligent viewers out there and we miss Moonlight. We need more Mick! Please! ive never been obsessed with a show before. in fact i used to laugh at people who HAD to watch each episode of whatever series they were in love with. I hope that you bring back Moonlight. I fell in love with this show, it was great and exciteing all at the same time since you never knew what would happen next. I couldnt beleive that you would stop this show right when it was getting really good when Mick finally told Beth that he loved her. I want to see what happens, so there should be a Season 2. A local Canadian TV network ran season 1 of Moonlight and,I cannot express to you how much I've enjoyed watching it. I don't understand why CBS isn't giving Moonlight a proper chance (given that most of the season was not presented due to the writers strike)? It seems odd that a series that is written and performed so well would on the chopping block. The writers have taken these characters and this genre and breathed life into it with love, passion, sorrow, loss, and danger. They then dangle a chance of tasting the 'forbidden fruit' in front of the characters even though they're given the knowledge of the cost both as a vampire or human. Together, these brilliant writers and wonderful actors are able to take the viewer along with them on a rollercoaster ride of emotions that always ends in an unforseen result. I can honestly tell you that I haven't been emotionally involved (waited anxiously for the return once the strike was over) in a TV show like this ever! I feel as if, 'I bleed' with each episode. I loved Moonlight. It had great storylines, characters and Alex brought Mick to life. Cant believe they stopped this great show, it well deserves a second season Loading People... |
