I think that is the point that a lot of ppl find very difficult to comprehend. as for the muslims being pigs, pfft... ignore it, they have every right to say wahtever they want. the key point, however, is that no one seems to be supporting his/her argument, merely stating that it should be removed, and providing either threats or quotes from scripture. DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE HAS ANY SENSE ON THIS DISCUSSION, BUT CHURCH AND STATE ARE SEPERATE. what a load of bs... im sick of hearing about allah and how he's going to judge me... let him do that, i don't need his permission to exist, nor do i require his judgement upon me after death. as humans, we are all held accountable to one another after death, which is what allah/god is, the embodyment of mankind's inner spirit, and i would want ppl to remember me not as a coward, but as someone who stood up for his OWN views and beliefs, and that i stood by them, despite what might be trendy in the world today. the idea that this even causes religious strife is a sign of how narrow-minded the religions of the world are. all monotheistic religions have the same message, and to claim otherwise is defying the very principles of your own faith. whether you believe in one or many gods, the idea of treating everyone with respect is the basis for peaceful co-existence. christians have had to endure many depictions of christ as a comic figure, and when the church cries out, they are deemed as an archaeic and passe institution that lives in the past, yet everyone has to bend to the will of muslims. lighten up, please, it is not meant to be offensive, and coming at it from another point of view -- if muhammed was nothing more than a prophet, then he was a real man. Men have a physical appearance. creating a visualization of that figure is not idolatry, because you do not worship the figure, you worship the ideals that the figure instilled. this is ridiculous, everyone needs to take a deep breath and relax, look at it objectively, not through the emotional eyes of religion.
