They do need to do a better job. It wasn't even close to the book!

I don't watch movies because they are never as good as the books. I juststarted reading the twilight books like 2 days ago I am already on the 3rd, one....I am now in love with edward like every other Girl in the world...

They really do need to include more details in New Moon than they did in Twilight. Jacob's time w/ Bella is very important for Eclipse in my opinion. not to mention the papercut but i think they'll have to put that in.

mabye not EVERY detail but all the very very very important ones...scratch that how bout details that are important and needed in every fans point of view...

i no that they got a different director for new moon that who they had for twilight so they might not leave as much out........im sure they had alot of complaints for the blood type scene out.....and i thought that bella and edwards relationship came from no were! in 1 scene they were talking like they were friends and then she is telling him how afraid she is of losing him......

i agree...in the movie twilight...bella and edward were not given the time to even establish a relationship...and some events happened in all the wrong places....they did not skip out of school to go to the clearing..the restraunt scene was all wrong as well...i loved the movie...but also hated it as well...i really do hope that they can make new moon movie follow the book...b/c for us die hard fans...we will know if they dont...and if they mess up new moon...i hope somebody else can come along, remake the movies and rectify the mistakes

I really hope that the director stays closer to the line of the story written by Stephenie Meyer herself. I feel it as somewhat of an insult to her if they change it. I also think that even though Taylor is a good actor he shouldn't stay as Jacob because it messes with the story. I also read something that said that Edward might possibly have a bigger role in the movie than he did in the book and I don't think the movie writers have any right to change what Stephenie has written.

I must say that even though this was not a major high budget movie I was a little dissapointed at it..... Sorry.....but it is true there was so much that was left out not to mention changed!!!! Like the medow scene in the book....where was that to the fullest....I did like the movie but felt kinda ripped off if I do say so myself....I think that I expected to much from the movie. I wanted to see the book on the big screen to see if the movie in my mind was anything like the one someone else would see but I guess not. Who knows maybe New Moon will be different they did so well with Twilight there budget might be a bit bigger. Heres hoping:P

I was shocked @ how much was left out of the Twilight movie..However I understand that there is no possible way to put all of the details in or it would have been like a 6hr film...I am not saying that I would have minded..but some people might have not liked that..I do hope that in the New Moon movie they put more details of the book in there...
I am looking forward to the next film..
It is a different director..so maybe it will have a different spin on things and incorrporate more on the book...

Twilight was good but it wasn't what I hoped it would be. With the time limit, I hope he makes New Moon as accurate as possible.

though it's going to be hard as crap to see Edward leave in the book and have him gone (it still makes me cry when i read the book) i want them to cling to every detail they can

I so can't wait for this movie i hope the director can get it as close as possible, i would be sincerely grateful if it kept to the book as much as possible but new moon is my least favourite book anyway in the series but it would do the film justice if it kept to the book as much as possible. I so can't wait to see who plays Aro and the rest of the Volturi..

I think Twilight was the closest movie to the book! I mean, I wish the blood typing was on it but they would've had to make Twilight Part 2 and we would've had to wait ages!

I doubt they'll miss out the papercut becuase that was the main reason for him to leave! I Hope the Volturi are close to the characters!

And how edward condition to change Bella vampire : married first..can't imagine the funny face of Bella..I can fully understand how ridiculous Edward's idea for 18 year old Bella.

I completely agree that the job to be done with New Moon needs to be a lot better than the job that was done on Twilight. It would be very much appreciated if it could be kept as close to the story and not have unnecessary scenes, that make no sense, added; like in Twilight.
But... instead of rushing the scenes between Bella and Jacob, just to bring Edward back... why not show him sporadically to let us see what he's up to while he's away... I know that Stephanie wrote a little scene of when he gets the phone call from Rosalie in the Twilight Saga section of her webpage under New Moon that could probably be incorporated into the movie script. I would also appreciate if changes need to be made that they have Stephanie make the final decision about it, since the Twilight characters are her's and she could see if any changes would make sense. Thank you.

YES! I agree. Although i did enjoy the first movie (lets face it, if they tried to fit EVERYTHING in it would be waaaaaayyyy too long - although that would be cool) but i really think they need to have bella and jacobs relaionship in there for atleast half of the movie. and i agree that they had better keep the paper cut bit in!
