Description:

Taxpayers shouldn't suffer because some people failed to live within their means.   Bailing out homeowners (and indirectly the lenders) would set a troubling precedent and encourage irresponsible behavior in the future. People need to take responsibility for their actions and not expect gov't handouts for reckless behavior.

i say we need not bail out anyone the government, stock markets, housing or the auto industry. let them fix it themselves.

Stupidity is responsible for the disaster. All the borrowers can not honestly sit down and decide that the ARM's were a good idea long term. Who in their right mind agrees to let their mrtgages increase with the market. nO THEY SHOULDN'T BE BAILED OUT. Also, so you know, the ARM's are government grant programs backed by us the American people. We've already paid for their homes.

There's no bail-out for my debts and all I'm trying to do is keep my 2 boys fed!!

Besides, I can't afford to pay off their homes, I can't even afford my own.

I think homeowners should not suffer and we should help them in this difficult times.

Banks and other institutions which are responsable for this desaster should be hold responsible. Specialy the Ceo'S and specially the directors and consultants should be hold responsible, and return all their money earned in this scandal.

Why should always pay the small guy and the big one gets a golden parashute.

I agree. I don't want my tax dollars going to huge corporations whose CEO's fly around in private jets while asking for 25 BILLION dollars!!!! Let the auto industry fix itself and/or give the money to independents who will try to make a better mousetrap!
