So go to your nearest slaughterhouse or agrigultural field of choice, and tell the employer you are willing to work for less than minimum wage with no health care or unemployment benefits, and that of course you will be thrilled to live in substandard housing while you are at it. Stop illegal immigrants whichever legal way we can and if we can't do it legally, change the law to make it legal. The Illegals bring crime to our cities and supply drugs to our children. No, and the the other states are smart they will follow suit.we as Americans have to draw the line somewhere. we have laws and they need to be enforced. You live in Texas, right? Texas was Mexico's until President Polk deceitfully manufactured a war, much like Bush has done in Iraq, and we got the spoils...your state, which was originally part of the United States of Mexico. Good News www.numbersusa.com reports the feds are gearing up to enforce the immigration laws. Even GW is getting on the bankwagon. Call your rep and ask them to support H.R. 4088 the SAVE Act. This should be supported by all americans. Tougher laws are required in order to stem the flow of illegals into this country. They shouldn't be allowed a haven in this country. More states should adopt the law Immigration was actually migration until during the Bush Sr./Clinton administrations began with NAFTA, and followed with tougher border enforcement. If I were to harbor a fugitive from justice, I would expect to be charged in some fashion. Why should someone who is knowingly helping a person to continue to break the law not be prosecuted. the key here is "knowingly" it is not going to be overyly easy to prove that the employer knew that the person was in the country illegally.
