We would like to thank you for your part in bringing October Road into our lives. As devoted fans of this amazing show we would like express our appreciation in the form of our campaign :

PAY OCTOBER ROAD FORWARD

Many devoted fans are coming out of the woodwork to help save our beloved show and are fighting to bring it back for MANY more seasons to come!

*CALLING ALL ROADIES*

We all want the same thing - to save October Road! In the process of this campaign we will also be helping which is always a good thing to do! Here is how it will work.

We purchase a copy of the 1st season of October Road on DVD. Take it to our local libraries and donate it to their DVD section. Along with this you will take the form letter to the contact person there at the library and explain to them that you are participating in a campaign to save this show and would like to donate that copy to their section. Then have them sign this form that you did this and if they have a library stamp with their address on it, have them also stamp the bottom of the letter.

NOTE: If you have other books or DVD's you have been looking to get rid of and would like to donate at that time, have the library make note of this also on the letter.

They create movie care packages and ship out weekly. Also, the DVD's get passed on to others when they are finished , and that's GREAT! All you have to do is click and ship!

When you have done all of this, send the related letter back to ABC.

I know that maybe some are hesitate about spending that $20 or so, but I have looked at it this way, I will just give up my "pizza night" this week and spend it on buying this DVD to donate. Save your receipt and a copy of the letter, it will be tax deductible!!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Purchase a copy of October Road 1st Season.

2. Print off the form letter from the files section at the link above or at the following links:

3. Visit your local library and donate, making sure to get the letter stamped (if possible) and signed by the receiving person. If you have chosen to send a copy to soldiers overseas, please make a copy of your receipt and print out the appropriate form in the link above and send both to ABC after you donate your DVD.

4. Make sure YOU sign the letter and add all of the appropriate information needed. Mail to ABC.

5. Make sure to post at the Yahoo group, here or on the ABC October Road message boards after you donated. Please specify the town and state you are from and the library where you donated.

I will not watch ABC even the hit LOST, I will stop watching just because of the fact they canceled my all time favorite show, OCTOBER ROAD. I didnt even know it was going to be canceled. I was patiently waiting on it to come back and didnt see any previews or anything, so I searched online just to find nothing! Just people saying its cancelled and everything! What the heck! Why? It was the best show! I love the cast, the plot, EVERYTHING. My husband and I watched this together, it was just so great! The reason the ratings dropped in my opinion, is because ABC sucked at advertising it, and everyone thought it was cancelled because it wasnt really advertised. PUT IT BACK ON PLEASE!!! If ABC wants to keep its ratings for anything, they should put this back on or someone else should take it like lifetime!

I watch almost no TV, but never missed an episode of October Road!!! I was thrilled at my luck to stumble upon the pilot of October Road. I looked forward to every episode, and have been patiently waiting for this season to start. I was worried when I couldn't find anything new about the show on the web this summer, and was afraid it might be cancelled. I hope that it will be brought back!!!!!!!! I enjoyed an adult show that did not rely on being trashy or risque. I think that some of the topics these young adult characters faced are universal, and the show reminded me of the next "Thirty-Something". I hope that the show will enjoy many more seasons.

don't cancel October Road. It is one of the few shows that is worth watching. There are plenty of other shows you can dump. Not October Road!!!!!

Just logged on to see when the new season was starting and learned there my not be new season. I AM DEVASTATED! I don't watch much tv- but this show I love! Please make sure October Road comes back- theres so much I NEED to know about these "people".

This is a great show. You all always cancel the shows that are great and leave on the stupid reality shows. If I want to see reality shows I can just go up the road and see it without watching the Television. Please put it back on the air for another season!!!!!!

My family me and my husband and our two teenages looked forward to this show. I liked it so much I have both seasons on my Ipod. Please put this family show back on

This was one of my families favorite shows. It was better than 90% of the other shows that are being aired. We looked forward to watching this show every week and couldn't wait for it to come on again and again. I think you will be making a huge mistake in not bringing one of the best shows out there back!!!!!!

Please keep the best show of last season on the air for another season! it would be a big mistake to let October Road fans not know what happened to the fantastic characters that have kept them coming back for more on Monday nights.

I AM VERY HEARTBROKEN TO LEARN THAT MY VERY FAVORITE SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELED AND, I WAS GETTING EXCITED TO IT COMING BACK REAL SOON. THIS SHOW HAS LOTS OF FEELING TO IT I HAVE NOT SEEN A SHOW ON LIKE THIS IN A LONG TIME. I AM VERY UPSET!!!!! PLEASE RECONSIDER

I.ve been waiting to see october road come back on during the fall like so many other shows do. How can you leave me hanging? there were so many unanswered questions, I love this show it's great to watch with my daughter and my husband loves it also. How often does that happen? This show made you think of a long lost love, and you felt as though you were going through there pain with them. BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that October Road was cancelled. This was a great show and had a good sound track. With all these horrible reality shows out there any one of those cancelled would be better then having a really good show like October Road cancelled. PLEASE BRING BACK OCTOBER ROAD

You have got to be kidding me!!! How can you even think about cancelling this show?!?! This is by far the best tv show in the last 10 years. It's very rare that you come across a great tv show that interests every age group out there but october road found a way to do it. Please bring this show back! I'm addicted to it and there are so many unanswered questions left that you can't answer in a 15 minute finale.

I am so disappointed that october road is being cancelled, when I was a kid we use to watch shows together as a family back when tv was family oriented, today it's all reality shows or just plain unappropiate for our children. I have 2 children and we watch the disney channel because it's safe but I am an adult and i'd like to see something other than childrens shows, well we finally found that something with october road it's a nice family show the kind that makes you wish you lived in a town like that and we were so looking forward to a new season and many more to come, so if it really is about what the viewers want then please rethink this and bring this show back

My wife told me the show has been cancelled and I'm flippin out. ABC has to bring it back or some station has to get them back on TV. I need to know what happens. All of my family watches this show!!

Please bring October Road back. This is such a grat show, the writers and cast are wonderful. I love that a show finally cast a girl (Janet) who was not supermodel thin and gave her a storyline. This gives every chubb girl out there hope that there is an Eddie Latecka out there for them. You can't leave us hanging like this, there are so amny unanswered questions that we need confirmed. I think this campaignis a great idea and will do my part to help bring this show back.

Was excited to see the NEW One Tree Hill last night and got up this morning thinking that the NEW October Road must be coming soon too. What the heck!!! I watch it at 42, my son watches it in high school, nd my daughter at Texas Tech and all her sorority sisters watch it together every week and they are madder than I am. Come ABC cut a reality show and let us watch October Road!!! The writers are creative and the actors and characters are great!

I can't believe October Road has been cancelled! I have waited all summer. Why would ABC cancel this show?? I do not have time to watch tv through the week because of my kids, but I made time every week to watch October Road. ABC bring it back! You are making a huge mistake!!

ABC screwed up again, first the highly promote this show as "highly acclaimed" and "must see" and things like that, then they cancel it? but they have no problems showing absolute stupid reality shows that are ridiculous, this show has characters and meaning to it. dont cancel it!!!!!
