We would like to thank you for your part in bringing October Road into our lives. As devoted fans of this amazing show we would like express our appreciation in the form of our campaign :

PAY OCTOBER ROAD FORWARD

Many devoted fans are coming out of the woodwork to help save our beloved show and are fighting to bring it back for MANY more seasons to come!

*CALLING ALL ROADIES*

We all want the same thing - to save October Road! In the process of this campaign we will also be helping which is always a good thing to do! Here is how it will work.

We purchase a copy of the 1st season of October Road on DVD. Take it to our local libraries and donate it to their DVD section. Along with this you will take the form letter to the contact person there at the library and explain to them that you are participating in a campaign to save this show and would like to donate that copy to their section. Then have them sign this form that you did this and if they have a library stamp with their address on it, have them also stamp the bottom of the letter.

NOTE: If you have other books or DVD's you have been looking to get rid of and would like to donate at that time, have the library make note of this also on the letter.

They create movie care packages and ship out weekly. Also, the DVD's get passed on to others when they are finished , and that's GREAT! All you have to do is click and ship!

When you have done all of this, send the related letter back to ABC.

I know that maybe some are hesitate about spending that $20 or so, but I have looked at it this way, I will just give up my "pizza night" this week and spend it on buying this DVD to donate. Save your receipt and a copy of the letter, it will be tax deductible!!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Purchase a copy of October Road 1st Season.

2. Print off the form letter from the files section at the link above or at the following links:

Follow the first link if you are donating to a library and the second if you are donating to a soldier

3. Visit your local library and donate, making sure to get the letter stamped (if possible) and signed by the receiving person. If you have chosen to send a copy to soldiers overseas, please make a copy of your receipt and print out the appropriate form in the link above and send both to ABC after you donate your DVD.

4. Make sure YOU sign the letter and add all of the appropriate information needed. Mail to ABC.

5. Make sure to post at the Yahoo group, here or on the ABC October Road message boards after you donated. Please specify the town and state you are from and the library where you donated.

I was heartbroken when I found out about October Road not being in the line up. In my opinion, this was the best show I've watched in a long time. I looked forward to it every Monday. Not only could I relate, but it brought back so many good thoughts from when I was in highschool. It made me reminiss of the good old days and remember connections to people that were valuable. I really hope this show comes back. My husband is tired of hearing me wine about it!!!

Please bring October Road back. I cant imagine not having the show to watch every week. Its a great show. One of my 2 favorites. There are so many silly shows on tv. This one is one a lot of people can relate to. I LOVE it and I want it to continue!!! Please bring it back ABC!!!!

I would love to have October Road come back on. Nothings better than having an actor from One Tree Hill and a girl from That 70's Show! They both bring the rest of the cast into a great show! Oh and who could forget the lovely girl from Gilmore Girls? Ah, bring this show back!

I would like ABC to bring back October Road because it reminds me of my own life. Being set in a small town about a group of highschool friends 10 years after graduation,it could be about anyone. Though it's nice to get a look at how the other side lives (Dirty,Sexy Money) When you watch you get a real sense of knowing and understanding these characters. I hope someone at ABC reads this and just realizes that though New York city is a nice place to visit, sometimes it's nice to visit smalltown america too.

You know, a 15 minute dialog on these huge unanswered questions just does not seem sufficient to me. Granted, I guess it's better than nothing. I don't know about anyone else out there but I am seriously tired of great new shows that begin in the fall and are canceled prematurely. I for one am boycotting any new shows abc has to offer. Why get hooked for the big let down?

I just wanted to say that this show is freakin awesome and I want to see more!!! I have been wating to hear about another season starting back soon, but haven't seen anything about it coming back on. It is disapointing to know that I might not ever see it again. :( I'm so sad! It really reminded me of old times with the people I grew up with. Why would any body cancle a show as good as that anyway?

bring october road back.. i dont know why some guy who thinks he knows what america wants cancels a real show about life. I loved October Road and the cast. However, I do feel that the writing was lacking ... It took too long to get more answers about much of the initial story lines. I hope they bring it back and can move along the plots more while introducing new story lines.
