PAY OCTOBER ROAD FORWARD
Many devoted fans are coming out of the woodwork to help save our beloved show and are fighting to bring it back for MANY more seasons to come! *CALLING ALL ROADIES* We all want the same thing - to save October Road! In the process of this campaign we will also be helping which is always a good thing to do! Here is how it will work.
We purchase a copy of the 1st season of October Road on DVD. Take it to our local libraries and donate it to their DVD section. Along with this you will take the form letter to the contact person there at the library and explain to them that you are participating in a campaign to save this show and would like to donate that copy to their section. Then have them sign this form that you did this and if they have a library stamp with their address on it, have them also stamp the bottom of the letter. NOTE: If you have other books or DVD's you have been looking to get rid of and would like to donate at that time, have the library make note of this also on the letter. They create movie care packages and ship out weekly. Also, the DVD's get passed on to others when they are finished , and that's GREAT! All you have to do is click and ship!
When you have done all of this, send the related letter back to ABC. I know that maybe some are hesitate about spending that $20 or so, but I have looked at it this way, I will just give up my "pizza night" this week and spend it on buying this DVD to donate. Save your receipt and a copy of the letter, it will be tax deductible!! INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Purchase a copy of October Road 1st Season. 2. Visit your local library and donate, making sure to get the letter stamped (if possible) and signed by the receiving person. Make sure YOU sign the letter and add all of the appropriate information needed. Mail to ABC. (Address to ABC is on the letter) 5. Make sure to post at the Yahoo group, here or on the ABC October Road message boards after you donated. Please specify the town and state you are from and the library where you donated. October Road needs another chance!! Please put the show back on AIR!! I loved watching the show. It is my favorite. You can't just leave everyone hanging and not have an ending. BRING IT BACK!!

I am not real big on TV. I have other things that keep me busy so it normally stays off at my house but I can assure that every week my televison is on when October Road is aired...I love this show. It follows in the footsteps of Friends and Mad about you for me. Do not take this show off the air!!!!!!!
October Road is a great show. I looked forward to the next episode every week. This has not occured since Friends and Will and Grace ended. I watch tv to rid my mind of my daily thoughts and maybe laugh, cry or get emotional attached to a storyline for a short while. I can't take another reality show. October Road has great storylines, humor, emotion and great music. Please leave this show on the air. It is truely quality entertainment which is so very hard to find these days.
what is the networks problem the fill up our days with the stupid shows and then the cut one of the best shows aired. I like these kind of shows. Also fans of One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls, Dawsons Creek, Grays Anatomy, and shows like Bones. Please bring back one of the shows worth watchinig. There was plenty of fans for this show October Road. Before my mother passed away I use to go to her house just to catch October Road. I continue our tradition on my own only I can't because someone has taken that from me. WHY? BRING BACK OCTOBER ROAD.
October Road is one of my fav.shows because it deals with real life issues and is just a great show.We need more shows like October Road yes but we need to keep October Road on the air.
October Road is just good TV. We need these feel good shows on the air. We need shows with good story lines like October Road. When I watch it I feel like im hanging out with them. WE NEED OCTOBER ROAD ON THE AIR!
This show was one of my favorites we need a season 3. I want to know what happens with everyone. We all loved the music it have me a feeling like I was hanging with my friends from highschool again.
I agree....the only reason this show would have had low ratings was due to lack of promotion. When the writers strike was going on I had assumed that this show was gone for the time being. I was scanning the guide on my tv one night and seen October Road was on and it was a new episode. I had missed like 4 episodes! I had not seen one commercial or preview for the show! Luckily I was able to catch all my missed episodes online. I loved this show and I cannot stand not knowing who Sam's father is and making sure Hannah doesn't end up with that loser Big Cat!! Bring It Back!!!!!!!

I cannot believe they cancelled October Road!! It was very poorly handled...they gave us a few episodes, then no more, then next season several more. It was no wonder they had bad ratings! I'm angry at how the network handled this! They didn't stand a chance...many lost interest w/ the weeks & monthes between episodes! If someone would pick this show up, I don't doubt for one minute that it will be a huge success. They just need to start from the beginning again & it will catch on! PLEASE someone give it a chance!!!!!!!!!!!!1
how come the so called "reality" shows, which have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with REALITY, get to stay in the lineup, while really good shows like october road are canceled? this is a perfect example as to why i spend most of my time watching animal planet, usa channel or hgtv. there is a whole audience of people out there who do not care about which bachlor or bachlorette are going to win money then break up the following week. they're not courious about how well a star dances and they definately could care less about japaneese game shows, they just want to chill out after working all day and watch some decent, well written tevevision programs. thats the REAL reality.
Bring October Road back. My husband and I watched it together every week. We both want to know who is the father of Sam. It is a great show and it does not take place in a hospital, court room, medical examiners lab, and it is not a horrible attempt at making non-reality, reality. It was down to Earth real life stuff. BRING IT BACK! BRING IT BACK!
October Road was my date night for my son and I. No matter what he was doing he was sure to be home by 10 so we could watch it together. My son is 19 and it was such a beautiful thing to have October Road bond us together. The Meatloaf/Capt Cupcake episode was priceless. To leave us hanging is wrong. This was one of the best shows on T.V
I am very upset to see that october road was cancelled. you cant end a show and not give the viewers the entire story! we have no idea, IF nick is Sams dad or if Nick and Hannah might get back together. I mean help, we need closure,at least one more season!!!

I am devsstated that this show has been canceled. I went to search when the new season was starting and then I find out it was canceled. This is a mistake. I loved every character in the show and was looking forward to watching this for years...I cant believe its over...And I really dont get why it was canceled because every person that I asked about this show loved it. I think it was ABC's fault for not promoting it like like they should...Hopefully someone else will pick up the show on a different network.
I'm so dissappointed that October Road won't be coming back for a third season. I thought the show was the best one ABC had. I think they have made a mistake.
I really enjoyed watching October Road,there a very few shows that my Mom,Sister,Aunt and myself all like but we all loved this show. I don't think you should cancel a show with out some kind of ending
I too, am very disappointed after reading October Road has been cancelled. Honestly, I rarely have an opportunity to watch TV anymore and October Road was the ONE show I watched weekly; faithfully, without Tivoing. I guess that leave me nothing to watch; maybe I can finally lose those last 10 pounds of pregnancy chub. lol. Executives decisions about what to keep and what to cancel really don't make sense this season!
Please consider bringing October Road back! It is a really great show with interesting characters and storylines. Soooooooo much better than the reality TV crap that is out there!
I am so sad. I was looking forwrd to watching October Road. I cannot BELIEVE it has been cancelled, i just found out and am heartbroken. Bring back OCTOBER ROAD... I need my show..

Please bring back October Road. Why would anyone not want to continue with a show that everyone can relate to? Please bring back a great family show. My children love this show also. Please, Please get it back on.
