Myspace is a way for friends to stay in touch. I have found friends from 13-14 years back. Alot of the military keep in touch with family and friends with myspace. Tom's just pissed cause he's always being deleted off peoples friends list Submitted by Josh A. on Mon, 07/28/2008 - 06:37

I deleted my myspace account and feel great about it!!! Im free, they should call it mycrack it sucks you in and before you know it your wasting a lot of preious time on stupid trival gibble gabble. I have elected to call my friends and hear their voice and take a break from the technology craze.... Just to clarify, TOM DOES NOT OWN MYSPACE! FOX TV has owned myspace ever since they paid Tom a few million dollars for the site. Tom is doing just fine financially. As is Fox TV. Submitted by Matthew D. on Thu, 03/13/2008 - 18:14
Excuse the shouting but... VOTING ON THIS IS POINTLESS BECAUSE THE WHOLE "MYSPACE IS BECOMING A PAY SERVICE BECAUSE TOM IS IN DEBT" THING IS A HOAX. As mentioned earlier check out Snopes.com. MySpace in general (and thus Tom) has plenty of money from selling ad space and other sponsorship. Plus, technically speaking, an inactive or barely active user's data would take up noticeably *less* server space than active ones because active members would more frequent posts of data (messages, blog entries, etc). It's true that clearing out inactive users and spam-bot users would free up *some* space, but it would likely pale in comparison to the rate at which the bits and bytes would be re-consumed by the more active users. I don't believe in this. But... It may be real... $22.50 per month? Stupid. Delete non users!!! I'll give, say, $30 per year. That's all. IP out. Submitted by dam m. on Mon, 03/03/2008 - 19:33
hmmmm I would pay for the myspace 12 dollars per year, if the money will go to humanitary reasons, . . .greetings from SLovenia Submitted by laura b. on Mon, 03/03/2008 - 06:46
At very least they need to delete the old or un-logged-into myspaces that accidentily get started and not ever used again... alot of space would be cleared allowing longer use and cleaned up acess Submitted by Ann R. on Fri, 02/29/2008 - 14:32
This is false. Check out Snopes.com before you believe most things you hear! Submitted by kathie b. on Fri, 02/29/2008 - 04:18
Please leave MySpace free. I've met new friends on it and talk to musicians and they respond it's so cool. And i've met some great authors to books i love to read. keep it free we pay for everything else in this world but this is so cool cuz we get to met and talk to friends and get new ones Submitted by Roxanne L. on Thu, 02/28/2008 - 19:26
paying for myspace? thats a **** stupid idea! if they make us pay monthly im cancelling my account. tom should ask his sponsors for more money - he has loads - and maybe get a loan. no way am i staying on myspace if they charge! bloody stupid idea Submitted by maria f. on Wed, 02/27/2008 - 21:35
Myspace is awesome. Many people will discontinue it's use if you start to charge a fee. You're already extremely popular. My students contact me whenever they need me through myspace. I've met people all over the world thanks to myspace.com. Leave it free!! Submitted by Darlene R. on Wed, 02/27/2008 - 17:55
I would like to know where this information came from first and foremost, and if it is true, then I think it's wrong. Delete all the unactive profiles that haven't signed in for more than a month. Let's face it, if you don't sign on at least once a month, you aren't using MySpace in the way it was intended... are you? That's my two cents on the subject. Submitted by zoe l. on Mon, 02/25/2008 - 21:10
shoould delete unactive profiles like from 2-3 years ago but not from a couple of weeks could be on vaction or cant get to a computer Submitted by zoe l. on Mon, 02/25/2008 - 13:54
its ridiculous get more advertisements pay for it that way.or charge a fee for the new musicians yearly like 10 dollars Submitted by Debra L. on Mon, 02/25/2008 - 00:50
If we have to be charged to use myspace then it will be ceared out in no time lol. I think a big clean up should be done first and what does Tom think the sponsors are for?????? Come on get real Tom!!! Submitted by LUISA D. on Sun, 02/24/2008 - 21:56
LEAVE US ALONE "MY SPACE IS MY SPACE" NOT YOURS FREE Submitted by Jeremy B. on Sun, 02/24/2008 - 16:18
There are more fake profiles (bots) and abandoned prfiles on myspace than there are live and active ones. Tom should clean house first. Then see what he is working with. Then reach out to his sponsors and maybe even take up a charity. But don't charge for myspace.... Submitted by Joanna B. on Sat, 02/23/2008 - 22:41
First off I agree upon the fact that enlisted members who haven't logged in for the past 3 month should be deleted. It's a waist of space which can be better used by those who are serious and enjoining My Space. An other issue I have with having to pay is the fact it started of for free so why pay now while as said by others sponsors contribute. When MySpace is going to go on with payed enlisting? It will cost them more than what they gain by it, namely a lot of subscribers will move else where. And within a short period of time it will then be NoSpace.
