I hate they are taking the best show off I love guilding light been watching for 34 yrs I was just a kid when my mom got me hooked and now I feel like its part of my family if they can not keep it on cbs mveit to another channel they have a soap channel thye could air it there. I will always miss guilding light.

hi i am a big fan of guilding light i am so disappointed they are taken it off the air ,this is the only one i watch ,none of the other ones except days of are life are interested ,guilding light is a family show about familys who stick together and fight but in the end they all come back together ,i will never put any show on channel 2 on again i am going to boycot channel 2 ,josh and revea ,are my favorite older couple and lizzie is finally happy , please dont take guilding liht off i will be so sad ,they are like my family ,i cant miss it!!! sincerely maryann lindstrom west milford nj

Sad Sad day when this show goes off the air.. I am 30 years old now. and have been watching this show for well funny to say pretty much my whole life so far.. There will never be another Soap Opera out there that could top or replace this one..

Why does the show need to go off the air. The cast all play good parts and I have always like Reva and Josh.I remember when it was on the TV for 15 minutes along with Search For Tomorrow. I would watch it with my Mother when I was sick and couldn't go to school when I was in grade school.

Please don't get rid of the oldest soap opera. I've been watching since I was a small child with my grandmother & mother. It's become a part of our thing together. To chat about & to keep us in touch. I would really hate to lose that.

I have been watching Guiding Light ever since I have been little I would come home after school and watch with my mom, It breaks my heart to think you are going to just take it way. My Mom Is gone, But watching the show is like My family too.

I too have been watching this for many years and want to save it. I need my Reva/Josh Fix and Reva/Jeffery fix, I love Dina and Shane. My channel that shows it lately has been off air with some difficulty and not taping?? Bon

Yes I too wish it'd stay on as well, I got hooked in the late 70's with the Roger/Holly rape trial...I was a 17 year old boy/man then..I was hooked. I'll be honest as of late I think CBS let the show go down hill. I was never a fan of this new camera filter, or lack of, shooting. Character wise, Johnathan, little Will (the devil) and Edmond kept me interested where as Dina (Gina whatever), in my opinion, just blew more holes in the sinking ship with her over acting with the lack of creative script she was given. Sure I'd love to see it stay on but there has to be changes, writers, directors and yes even characters like Reva, big deal she can cry on cue, cry your fat butt somewhere else, my god woman stop eating. Sorry I got off point: hey if this helps so be it, if not, well thanks for the memmories and my soap days are over.

I hope the network is listening to the fans, and leave GL on. They should cancel B&B. It's so old, we are so tired of the Brooke & Taylor saga. And Taylor really needs to give up the Botox and lip plumper.She looks so fake. GL & Y&R are the best!

I agree GL and the Y&R soaps are the best on the tube. If any cbs soaps should go it should be B&B. How many times are Brooke and Taylor going to fight over Ridge.And Taylor Ha, BOTOX QUEEN! Does'nt look Real at ALL. Storyline is flat and mostly stupid. GL is great. I hope they listen to what the fans want.

Please do not cancel GL, today when phillip took beth that he was dying, I cried as if it was really real. It just breaks my heart knowing that I won't beable to watch my friends everyday. My husband started watching GL a few months ago and he said it was the best soap on the air. there is still so much to do. Jeff have to come home. Phillip needs to live. reva and josh needs to get back together. please let the light shine, I want more, I need more. I have watched GL for over 30 years and know more about the people and their lives, then I do my own family. GL feels like family and I don't won't it to come to an end. what am I going to do without GL. I could go on and on and it's not going to make a difference. Diane M

I have watched this soap for over 35 years. It makes me laugh and cry and just forget about things for awhile. Please do not cancel this soap. It's been around for 70 plus years for a good reason.

My mother and sister watched this show and I have been watching it since I was able to understand what was going on... This show is a family show.. never shamed for my little girls to watch it. and their 10 and 6.. I really wish you would not cancel a great show. I mean please look at what your leaving us to watch B & B please that show needed to go the first day it aired.... We need this show... It has real meaning to the family values and it needs to stay on..CBS has made mistakes in the past to get rid of show.. Everyone know that but this really be the biggest mistake they make. I know they will lose alot of viewers at that time slot.. Can you really lose your viewer????

Please do not get rid of the Gulding Life if you have to cut corners then cut B&B that show is so predictable it's ridiculous. In todays world economic situation please don't take the good things away from us. That's all some of have to look forward to.

If CBS needs to cut something to stop decling rating then they should cancel Bold and Beautiful that is the most predictable thing on tv it's the same plot every day, and leave the longest running story on tv on the air it's lasted this long and out lasted many shows so it should show that it has a faithful following. Leave good this alone in today economic & stressful lives we lives these days why take away the good things on tv.

It's UN-AMERICAN not to watch The Guiding Light!!!!!!!! I have been a faithful watcher of this wonderful soap for over 35 years!!!!!! And....I don't want to see it end!!!!!!! There is "NOTHING else that can replace THE GUIDING LIGHT, NOTHING!!!!!!! I'll BE MAD AS HELL IF IT GOES OFF!!!!!!! I'm sorry but that's how I feel. It's the BEST soap on the air. PLEASE, PLEASE, don't take it off!!!

As many have posted, I watched the guiding light for many many years (I'm now almost 63). My daughter (now 34) always talks about how when she was 4 and 5 years old, me ironing in front of the guiding light watching and she riding her hobby horse. I always make sure I tvio the show in case I miss it. With all that is going on today here and the world, it is so nice to know I can sit down in the evening and watch the guiding light, lost in the world of Springfield. I love it when you bring back some of the 'old timers' (like Billy and Vanessa). I really look forward to watching the show. Please, please don't take the show off. We'd all even be willing to buy a or some products advertised to show our numbers and how serious we are about the show. Please. Linda T.

Please keep the show on i am 71 and i love to set and watch it. If they wouldn't have changed it with the cameras it would still be the top soap. Take off Bold and beatuiful that show sucks and keep Guilding Light on or find new writers. I could do better then them. KEEP IT ON

I have been watching Guilding Light for over 50 years. I only watch that one since I have been disillusioned with As The World Turns recently. Please keep it going. The acting is supurb and so are the characters.

Please don't take Guiding Light off the air. I have watched this show as long as I can remember. The show has been a great one, and will surely miss it. CBS has the bests soaps on. SO PLEASE RECONSIDER. Look at everyone who will be out of job. Thanks.

Ok, Come on this show has been on forever and to me it's the BEST soap that there is out there. Don't cut the program just because you don't want to do it anymore. Sell it to another network if nothing else. Please DON'T KILL IT! ! !

If you will not keep Guilding Light on please sell the program to another network. I will follow it anywhere. I do not care for any of the other soaps on CBS like I do for Guilding Light.
