I feel some cable channel should pick up GL, I believe the fans would follow. I have grown up watching this show. I feel like everyone gets to pick the family they would like to be in. Me, I'd take the Cooper's. When I was younger, much younger I would like to have been in the Bauer family. I have really enjoyed watching Rick, Mindy, Beth, Phillip and all the others grow up. I will not watch whatever CBS replaces it with. I hope their ratings hit bottom.

Love GL! It is the only program I DVR! A girl has to have something to unwind to after a long day of work!

What is CBS thinking of in cancelling Guilding Light in September? Replacing with yet another stupid game show? Or even worse another wife-swap type show? Ugh! I'll be watching the Food Network or TV Land instead!! Marcy L

Please do not cancel GL. It is a great show and my only guilty pleasure. If I can't be home to watch it, I can't wait to get home to see what I've missed. It would be a big mistake to cancel this great show. I guess CBS needs a new tool to measure the huge and devoted following it has.

I am a long time viewer of guiding light. I truely don't know what I'll do when it goes off.I can't wait to get home from work to watch it.I am so mad about this that I have vowed not to watch whatever they put in it's place.They think they know what we'll watch but GL viewers love their light.If I did'nt I would'nt have watched it for over 50 years.

I have watch GL for over 30 years and would like to see it continue for another 30. CBS may be in an economy crunch but this is just sad!

My mom and I watch the guilding light since it started on t.v. but now she is gone it keeps her memory alive and keeps all of the good story line alive, and all about the problem that family faces everyday.My mon would be highly upset taken off the best soap that was everon the t.v. and me also

I am really upset that you are cancelling Guiding Light after all these years. It is truly a wonderful program. I have watched it since it was only a 15 minute show and I will miss it so much. I am certainly not likely to watch another stupid game show or talk show. There are definitely more than enough of them already. I cannot believe that you would cancel such a wonderful show and changes the way I feel about CBS. I will of course continue to watch the other daytime soaps but I certainly do not want you to cancel Guiding Light.

Bring Harley and Guss Back. They dont even fit in at All My Children. I wondered why they left. I now know that it is because Guiding Light is being cancelled. I will truly miss this show. I love this show!!! I first started watching it as a little girl with both my maternal and paternal grandparents when I went ot visit them. I got hooked on it again while in high school and college. I am now 43 years old and have been tuned in again the past year since gettin glaid off and it is great. I just found out today that it has been canceled and I am devastated. Please reconsider. The last thing we need is another stupid reality show, talk show or game show. The GL is familiar and something one can relax with. Josh and Reva, Lizzie and Bill, the Coopers, the Spauldings, they are all so much fun.

I don't want to see the GL go. I've been watching this soap before I started preschool(28 yrs ago) I have great memories of watching this show with my mother. Now that she passed ayear ago GL helps me remember the special time (2pm-3pm)we shared. Please don't cancel this wonderful show it will be way to heartbreaking. JRR

This is the greatest show and should not go off the air,I think that CBS is making a"BIG MISTAKE" with all the ugly shows on why can't the viewes have a show they really enjoy, I don't watch most of the stations because what they show for people to watch is ugly. Save guiding light, as a little girl I grew up (as young as 5) wathching the show with my grandma, and i've always enjoyed reva my grandmother is no longer with me, as I continue to watch your bueutiful drama it makes me feel connected to my grandma (as if we are still watching togehter. PLEASE TRY 2 SAVE THE LIGHT THAT HAS GUIDE'D US FOR SO LONG!!!!!

The Guiding Light has been existence for 72 years. Some fans still exist who have watched it for that long. The shows ratings decline has only been recent and giving up on a program with it's track record with giving it more of a chance to turn things around is outrageous. One would think cbs daytime would have more respect for it's fans but unfortunately I guess it truly is only about money. Please reconsider.

I am 85 years of age and been watching Guiding light since its inception. It is was wonderful show and I will really miss it. Please save it.

Please, the light is something, My grandparents have passed down to me, I grew up watching, it is heart breaking that it may be gone forever.

Please do not cancel this great program. Two friends of mine gat me into watching it three years ago and since, this is the only soap I watch. The only one that holds my interest. We do not need any more reality shows or game shows. Please reconsider and keep The Guding Light Shinning. Arlene H

I am writing to implore you to keep Guiding Light on the air. I have been a viewer since I was a young girl. It occupied many afternoons in the summer when I was home alone .Cancel your writers and get some new blood and get rid of the location filming.
