now that you are question, why did sony release another PSP (again without the 2nd analog), which plays the same games, is almost the same (smaller, more memory and almost 70 dollars more which you can get 4 memorios of 8gb and will pay less), that does not take my old games (only in the memory), and that at it the end is the same freaking device, isnt that stupid?

PS3 is on trouble http://www.gamespot.com/n ews/6214569.htm... they sells are going down, I have to give it to sony they sold us a really expensive device at a really low price (compare to what it cost) you got a device that cost 450 dollars for 400, but this is costing them the war, blueray cost the PS3 the war.

The production cost of PS3 has dropped 70%. Blu-Ray was one of the best features that they included in the PS3. It was one of the many reasons why PS3 won the war along with better quality exclusives, more reliable hardware, more features and the fact that I said so. The 360 is more of the "poor man's system."

again the production cost of the PS3 drop, yet they are not reporting any profit from it (like MS and Nintendo) and PS3 did not win any war, BD wont over HD-DVD, but PS3 is currently losing the HD console war, is in last place, and has lost almost 80% of the exclusives that made PS2 a great console (FF, Resident evil, GTA, tekken, soulcalibur, devil may cry, etc.) and Blueray is currently losing to regular DVD and DVDDL, since 90% of the movie sales are on DVD, 95% of the video game industry in DVDDL (PC, PS2, WII, 360 and some PS3 games),and I can say a 100% of the softwares come en DVD or DVD DL, so how is BR winning, so check your facts matthew and welcome.

They'll report their profits in due time. PS3 won the war long ago, where have you been? Once the price cut comes, you know for a fact (no way you can deny it) that it will lead in sales (which whoever sells the most doesn't matter). Blu-Ray is slowly taking the place of DVD just as DVD did VHS, just takes time. If you don't think BR won the format war, I want whatever you're smoking.

buy a jasper (you will have to look for it on ebay, they sold out in much pages), or get the warranty (did you now that if you get a 360 replace, you get another 3 years on that one), oh I forgot you got a modded 360 and you voided the warranty...... so sorry for you

now what will the PS3 cult say about the "reliability" of the 360, the new jasper chipset has been out on the market for 9 months and so far: no RROD reports, check the site, check the forums, check the amazon (it is soul out on amazon on ebay with a 20 GB hd for 245 new ), and regarding my issue with the PS3 VGA, I had to buy a 22 inches monitor that supported 1080p that cost me 200 dollars, VGA support is light year away on PS3, that why 360 is superior in terms of economy, you can play 720p (or a close resolution) in your old CRT monitor, PS3 not even close, you will end spending over 200 dollars in cables and monitor to get and HD display.

Heisy, long time no bicker. It's nice to see that your points still have no real...well...point. Yay for Microsoft, they finally pulled their fingers out of their @rse & made a product that isn't an ureliable piece of sh!t. How long has it taken them? I've seen a couple of articles with Jaspers that have RROD'd, but I'm assuming it might actually fall within industry standard percentages. There's always the E74 error to fall back on though, only joking. I wonder how many extra sales MS will get from customers wanting to get rid of their old units just so they don't have to wait in fear for the day theirs goes kaput. As for playing 360 games at 720p (or close) through a CRT TV. This is highly unlikely. Standard CRT TV's only support 480p, & the few CRT's that support hi-def are ridiculously expensive making your argument about cost irrelevant. You can play a PS3 on a standard CRT at 480, & HD at 720/1080, as you can with the 360. It's nice to be back.

kaden xvga monitors support 1024x768 (again that is not 720p, but is an HD display this monitors you can get does under 60 dollars kaden (and most 17 inches CRT are XVGA), got my point, is and HD output look for. it is consider HD resolution http://en.wikipedia.org/w iki/High-defini... got it and the problem with the PS3 is that only outputs 480p, 720p or 1080i via VGA is your monitor does not support that (monitors that support 720p and 1080p cost over 300 dollars and most of them are over 22 inches got my point) and kaden regarding your comments of the red lights on the 360, I have a lot of reports from PS3 with BR lens not working, or with the board burned, why do you thing the sale fans for the PS3?, and kaden the reason PS3 sales is because of the ring of death and the fans, and yes is nice to be back

dorman, whats give a better resolution a PC or PS3, and you play your PC on what? a monitor, monitors are not limited to 1080p like most TVs are, so yes next gen HD, and monitors give a better image.

Welcome to the future of gaming..........CRT is almost out as for TV's as well.....everything is going to be digital or HD HDMI rocks because its only one plug, makes things look a little neater...........if u can't afford a HDMI cable for PS3 as most XBOX360 don't have except for the elite model, then don't bag it............

nick, do you even know what you saying, all 360 HAVE HDMI PORT SINCE FOREVER (ALMOST A YEAR AFTER RELEASE) AND NICK VGA AND DVI ARE EQUALLY AND SOMETHING BETTER THAN HDMI gosh, CRT monitors are out not because they were not digital or not capable of HD singal (which they are) is because of the weight, space and power consuption they have, do you know that monitors give a better HD image than LCD tvs and Plasma TVs? oh read.

still and HDMI monitors cost a lot (sometimes more than TVs), and my point is HD/price, and CRT XVGA monitors give an HD image, the situation is that only with a 360 you can get it, via a VGA cable, got it.

What about all those people, who have bought OLD xboxes already! Like me... or my father or another mil people! U know what MICROSOFT told me, when I was was asking to fix it! That my warranty is no more valid, because I have registered my xbox in slovakia for Xbox-live! Since in slovakia there is no official commercial representative (or dealership) I broke the the policy for warranty and because of this they CAN NOT fix it for FREE! So long story short, I have to pay for repair, even when my xbox is only 2 years old! So, QUESTION for xbox cult, do u think, that it is ok, for MANY people to buy something U HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT! Simply because, product was UNRELABLE! Of course, NOW I can buy a NEW ONE, with ALMOST no RROD! EXCELENT! But don`t be fooled by statements like that, because I have read, that when microsoft fixed your old RROD it can`t happen again! WRONG! My father is proof, that it can happen! After 2-3 months it happened again! So he had to buy a new one & I tell u something, he wouldn`t do that, if there is CHIP for PS3 , u can trust me, that he would buy PS3!

MS is planning to replace all with jasper, again you have a 3 years warranty, and you have to pay for repair because your 360 IS MODDED.

hi bitches, question for the PS3 cult, IM trying to connect the PS3 via this VGA cable that I got from amazon http://www.amazon.com/Wii -PS3-VGA-HDTV-C... Im connecting it to a 19 inches but all I get is 480p, is not want to take any other format, or resolution when ever I try to change to a differen outsource the monitor tells me input no supported, the monitor maximum resolution is 1440 x 900, do you guys know about this/

not sure, but I think that in settings there is an option (in video) which resolution u want to use. Maybe u have allowed only smaller one. Or if not, try to check 720p ONLY... I have never tried that, but my friend told me once something like this.
