thanks dorman, but the PS3 only outputs HD Standart resolution, and the monitor I was trying to use does not support those, so I had to buy another one.

the only reason fanboys bash the ps3/360 is because they have never played on them. If 360/ps3 fanboys would stop sucking microsofts/sonys **** and expand their horizons they would find that both consoles are good in their own ways I myself lean towards the 360 purely because it's easily accessible to me and it has the games I like. However the ps3 also looks fun (yes, the graphics are better than my 360, but that's not the point)and i'm considering that $400 killzone/mgs4 ps3 deal... this forum as become completely useless :/

HEINZY BEINZY like it or not... FF13, FF14, FFvs & FF7(remake) will come next year! Except FF13 (in japan it will be this christmas) & I tell u one thing, when these games come, I can f... on games like FABLE, GEARS OF WAR or TALES OF VESPERIA... (these are GREAT games, but all these games are here for one thing only, to FILL the gap before REAL & BEST GAMES COME! and one more thing...................... Developing on FF13 for Xbox360 has began JUST 2-3months ago!!! (WITH FEW PEOPLE ONLY) It is statement directly from SQUARE, it means, that PS3 version is almost ready, now they have to WORK (and work REALLY HARD) to do the same job like on PS3 within time! And as every PORT it won`t be good! I tell u what will happen... the same like LAST REMNANT! FF13 for PS3 will be ABSOLUTLY AMAZING (graphics, performance, frame-rate...) for XBOX it will be (my opinion only, but most probable) WORSE, MUCH WORSE, because of time they have to finish it! Graphic will be (maybe the same, but I`m expecting little bit worse), performance (MUCH WORSE, lots of loading, poping up textures...) and with this, also come WORSE frame rate! So overall, PS3 will be (again, my opinion) 25% better! But of course, people like u HEINZY BEINZY will say, FF is bad, we don`t need it on xbox, cause we have AGE OF CONAN or SACRED :-DDDDD ... we never wanted it, and reviews on internet (especially on IGN) will be, "Xbox version in 10x more nice, it runs great, on contrary ps3 version is like... not finished properly...blah blah blah blah.... & people like u will BELIEVE to this **** (like many times before) and people like u will be happy, because ONE AGAIN, IGN had written , xbox is BEST :-) I feel pity, for people like u!

again dorman who cares about FF14, if they say they will put WOW I will be like really angry, Like I said before FF11 was not that good, an also did you now that it is also a GAME FOR WINDOWS, give 3 to 4 months and you will see in 360, the only FF game that I really care about is FF13, versus will be garbage like all the other FF spin-off and square tries to get into other genres (FFX-2, diege of serberus, einhander, etc) again dorma Tales is a great game, so is Gear of war, and dorman this games are TBA 2010, that is like 2011 for sony, so enjoy the wait.

again Heisy, who care what you say about FFXIII versus being rubbish as you've seen nothing of it to say what it's going to be like. FFX2 wasn't so much rubbish as a just a bit mediocre compared to X. I'm undecided about FFXIV until we see some more of it - it might be a lot better than XI for all we know - then again it could be rubbish - time will tell. Anyway, you don't like FF as there are too many cutscenes for you. Why would WoW on PS3 make you "really angry"? just curious as you had a go at me for hating on the 360 because of it's reliability!

you are right final fantasy x and x2 were equally bad (like anything after 7). and WOW on PS3 will make me angry, that just a saying something (comparing an actual morpg to FF online) WOW is great,(takes too much time, which I do not have, but it is still one of the best morpg)

Who cares about FF14? Anyone who's serious about RPGs considering Final Fantasy is the single most successful RPG or game series in history. FF11 was pretty good, played it for years. I HIGHLY doubt FF14 will ever end up on the 360 because SE said the 360 wasn't quite powerful enough to play it. If you were at E-3, you'd have known that.

barry, FF14 is a MORPG not and acutual RPG, there is a different, and any serious MORPG player dont give a crap about FF online (Capiche), WOW is great, even age of conan, but FF online is not that big of a deal in the MORPG world, deal with it. and about E3 square also said tht FF13 was not like to be on 360, and guess what......... and now with the jasper chipset, I will like to say what the PS3 cult will have to say about the "reliability" 9 months out no RROD reports, check the sites, check the users, and another price cut comming, then natal next year, 360 will eat PS3 and WII for dinner next year.

(lose more money in PS3 hardware sale or lose activition, I will go for the price cut, since COD4 is the second best sold game on PS3 over all their exclusives) all do you will see this happening more and more with other companies, is just does not make any sense to developed games in the PS3, like I said before, is to hard, it cost a lot more, and at the end the result are not that good, to add they do not sell very well.

Hate to break it to you, champ, but that wouldn't hurt PS3 much. We still have Square-Enix and Konami which created and are creating the biggest games for any console and are... *survey says?!* PS3 exclusive. As far as what you say consoles are for, that's your opinion. A multi-function console is, in my opinion, much better. I like having 1 machine that can play my DVDs, Blu-Rays, games, etc instead of having to have all kinds of machines/remotes. Oh, by the way, PS3 has far more quality games than Xbox does. HAHAHAHA!!!! EAT IT, FANBOI!!!!!!!

square enix? what exclusives do they have in PS3, since 90% of there games are on 360, and konami is going to develop every single game to 360 now, including MGS5 (which I do not care), surveis can say what ever they want, but sales says Halo 3, gear of war, forza 2, fable 2 are the best exclusives and since they have sell over most PS3 exclusives (and lets remember the ilegal copies out there). Well yes is good to have all those thing on a console, what is not good is to pay 400 dollars for a device that is already 2 years old, and that its main function should be play, if I as a gamer could find a way to pay just for a game device and avoid paying for a blueray player, well I will do it like that.

Yes Heisy, let's remember the illegal copies out there. What I find amazing is 360 owners ability to turn a negative into a positive, it's inspiring. RROD is a positive because of the 3 year warranty. Piracy for the 360 is a positive because? Oh, hang I've got it - it's because it's something the PS3 can't do. What next, is the loud noise of the DVD drive a positive because it drowns out the voices in your head telling you to do things you know are wrong!

Maybe we should all get 360's & then we can be blindly optimistic like Heinzy. If you're 360 scratches a disc, don't worry, it'll make another nice frisbee to add to your collection, & if you look at the back it's like a rainbow.....ooooh shiny shiny! If your console RROD's or E74's it's fine...after all it's only a fortnight to wait, or you can go out & pay for another 360 to be going on with, & then when you get your original console back you'll be twice as optimistic. After all, we all know that the PS3 still costs too much. Oh, read that back & replace "optimistic" with "gullible". Hey, Heinzy, how's the voices?, I bet one of them sounds like Bill Gates counting your money & giggling like a 12 year old girl.

Final Fantasy 14 Online is exclusive and will be the biggest game of 2010. MGS4 got much higher reviews than Halo 3 did. Heisenberg, you lost here, go cry somewhere else or everyone here will continue laughing at you.

is time exclusive (they did not even say it was exclusive), they said that they will eventually deliver it to 360, and for 2010? are you insane?, FFXIII is for 2010, that game is probably 2011, and FFXI wasnt the best thing out there (Not close to WOW, age of conan, or warhammer online,or a lot of MORPGs) , and regarding the reviews overall gamerankings say Halo is better it got higher reviews (read) and in metacritics is almost the same, now, halo 3 sold almost 3 times what MGS4 did, so again, you should first read, second try to make sense, no matter what the PS3 cult says, Halo 3 is complete hit it has higher or almost equal reviews as MGS4 did, but twice the people like, so which one is better (MGS4 because you guys say so, please), and more people play it, life with it. and the biggest game on 2009 and 2010 (since it will go out on november), is moderm war fare 2.

FF14 will NOT hit the 360. SE stated that the 360 isn't quite powerful enough to handle a game of that magnitude. Weren't you at E3? Both 13 and 14 will arrive in 2010. FFXIV "may" turn up on the 360, nothing definite has been stated one way or the other. It's being suggested that it's more likely to turn up on PC, which is something that most 360 exclusives do anyway. Splinter Cell:Conviction & Alan Wake look good but I won't need a 360 to play those 360 exclusives - wierd that! The only people who care how much Halo 3 has sold is you & Bungie.
