QVC vs HSN - Which One Is Best?Forum Discussion for QVC vs HSN - Which One Is Best? Submitted by Karen M. on Wed, 09/24/2008 - 16:03
HSN has all the great Sephora products, my fave. Submitted by Karen M. on Wed, 09/24/2008 - 16:01
HSN is cheaper, QVC is classier. With today's economy I need cheaper. Submitted by Mind E. on Tue, 09/23/2008 - 10:56
We should start thinking how to use earth 4 energy, not for destroying our eco-system. Not to mention about our ozone layer. I'm afraid of what could come in 30 years.. hope not the end of the world!:) Submitted by Mary D. on Fri, 05/16/2008 - 19:46
I told my kids that if they recognize my voice on QVC and I am calling the hostesses by name, come quickly, I need intervention. All of the comments were fun to read and I agree with almost all of them. Overall, their pricing is great! QVC works for me! I discovered HSN before QVC, and I stuck with HSN because the items they offered were more in line with my needs/likes. I can tell you from experience that neither company sells whatever product comes along... it all comes down to the item's potential commercial appeal, as judged by a team of producers. If you watch and listen long enough, the hosts of QVC will convince you of your need for SOMETHING new in your life, whether it be a new line of make-up, an updated cooking utensil, or the latest handbag. Great conversational copywriting .... a must for anyone learning the business. Kudos to QVC! Submitted by roe d. on Thu, 05/15/2008 - 22:46
qvc offers great products and ships in a timely manner Submitted by Robert M. at http://www.speedwake.com/upload/index.php?s=7d0453c908387f97babafd4dbd4ab474 on Thu, 05/15/2008 - 18:50
I do have to laugh sometimes though, they will be peddeling some little gadget and the way they talk it up is comical, I mean sometimes a cheese grater is just a cheese grater, but to listen to them you would think you could rebuild your engine with it. QVC Has NASCAR and I agree that they seem to sell things with some kind of QC, not just anything someone thinks will sell. Submitted by Jeff J. at http://www.speedwake.com/upload/index.php on Thu, 05/15/2008 - 15:10
I agree with the other comments. The QVC people are much more professional and HSC seems like they're always selling whatever someone pulls up to the loading dock with off the back of a truck with questionable origins. Submitted by Thomas L. on Thu, 05/15/2008 - 14:24
I have had good buying experiences with QVC! Submitted by Gene M. on Wed, 05/14/2008 - 21:27
QVC has more selection and things that interest me. Submitted by Adam S. on Fri, 05/16/2008 - 11:41
QVC is much more professional. Plus it is even entertaining when they get artists such as David Crosby to play live to promote his album. Going even back further Milton Berle was promoting one of his products. It is more than a sales channel it's entertainment. My Mom asked me to do the parental control to block QVC at her house and not give her the password. She has a little bit of a problem:-) Submitted by Mary Beth D. on Wed, 05/14/2008 - 21:04
I always stop on QVC, but flip by HSN. It seems like QVC has more stuff that I'm interested in. But it wasn't until this campaign that I realized I should be buying my stuff from there. Loading People... |
