i have a question.based on the theory that carbon dioxide is what is causing global warming,then what are we gonna do when we exhale?we exhale carbon dioxide and plants need it to make the very thing we need:oxygen.so if al gore wants to keep on talking about how co2 is killing the ozone then i just wanna say"Shut your mouth,Al!"this is just a natuaral cycle of the sun.it has happened before.just look at the ice age and the period before that.it was really hot and then everything froze.i do believe that was way before the "spawn of all evil":the car with it's evil gas.

i think it funny how everyone thinks that governor palin is some airhead.if she was this said "airhead" how in the world did she get where she is?now if you think you are so smart(by the way there is a difference between being intelligent and being smart)then why dont you go and run for mayor or governor?and judging mrs.palin on her daughter's mistake is just not right.her daughter made that decision not sarah palin.and at least she is sticking to her belief that abortion is wrong.if she wanted to she could have her daughter have an abortion.abortion is wrong and it takes a strong person to keep a child.another thing is that he wants to take responsibility for their actions and apparently he loves her b/c if he didnt he wouldnt marry her just b/c they are having a baby.more men in this country should be responible for their actions and take care of the childern they help create in the first place.

I think Sarah Palin is not very intelligent and she is just a screamer. The ohter is she is just lying about her daughter, that guy does not want to marry her and they are pressuring him and his family to get married.

I used to have marginal respect for mccain, even after he oicked her. But as I have learned more about what she is really about, and WHY he picked her (vote-gaining tacics, that's all--she will be uselss after his elelction if he gets it), I lost any and all hopeI had for him.

well i got part way thru the vice presidential debate. the inevitable question came up about gay marriage. thats where they lost me.i wonder how sarah palins friend feels about her response. its nice to know that i would still be a second class citizen if mccain wins. hell not even a second class citizen. im good enough to protect and defend this country as long as keep my mouth shut about who i love. i did that for eight years. i watched my buddies come home in pieces and body bags. and destroy themselves with self loathing and alcohol trying to prove that they were good enough. to overcome the stereo types. most of us got so disgusted and tired of what we were doing to ourselves to prove to people who werent listening and realy didnt matter that we opted out in record numbers in the 1990's. and we were dam good soldiers. ive got the medals and ribbons to prove it. my company comander tried everything he could think of to get me to stay in when my contract was up. we were good enough to protect and defend and to give our lives for people who judged us unworthy of being created equal and to have the same rights as provided in the constitution of the united states that all men are created equal ,but us.

and then theres the under god part. let ye without sin cast the first stone. mankind was created in his image, all mankind.i thought your christian god was a kind forgiving loving god. ive known since i was six years old that i was different than most people. i just didnt know how until i was older. than i learned i had to hide from people who i loved. i didnt understand why because no matter what i did or how hard i tried i couldnt change it or control it. and if i didnt hide i would be ostrisized, beaten, taunted, harrassed and judged. and believe me i suffered all those things and more. we are always an issue in a presidential campaign but none of my fellow citizens has the courage, conviction or sense of right to stand up and say this is wrong so im going to change it. no intestinal fortitude anywhere in sight.

I believe Sarah Palin won the debate It would be nice to have 2 people that understands the basics fo life and honors the flag and what it stands for

I am from Wasilla Alaska, Sarah Palin's home town and were all for our home town girl!!! GO SARAH!! We are so proud of you.

I started watching late, then turned it off after 10 minutes. Palin smiled continuously, and eventually had what in Texas is called a ahit-eating grin, which translates roughly to "I'm better than you because I'm real and you're not". It occurs when someone else is dominating a comversation thet the grinner just can't participate in. At first opportunity, the grinner gets back to talking about beer and barbeque and them Cowboys (or Cowgirls). Some people might see it as "bowed and bloodied by unbroken", while others would say it looks like pride in their own ignorance. I'm not a supporter of ivory towers, but I want my leader to be smarter than me, and comfortable that they are. Down to earth doesn't mean dirt for brains. Palin is not Margaret Thatcher or a New York senator, both of whom I could see as president.

No doubt about it Sarah Palin won! Joe Biden with his fake, bonded looking smile...makes me want to vomit. If he and Osama Obama get in I would love to be able to leave the United States. Well, if they were elected it most likely wouldn't be the US anymore. Obama has never even held a REAL job and people are dumb enough to think he can run this country? Give me a break! And I'm so sick of the actors, actresses, singers throwing their opinions out at everyone. Sure makes me, my family and friends know who to not support at the movies and at concerts. I think both did very good jobs, definitely admired how they were respectful toward each other...especially Palin toward Biden. I also didn't approve of how Biden said the global climate change was ONLY due to man. That was just extremely dumb on his part; nothing can be caused SOLELY by one thing. It is both man and natural changes of the Earth and the climate, there is actual proof for the natural change. I also agreed with Palin on how Biden kept of bring up the Bush Administration, he justed used that as a shield or deflector of sorts. Overall, Sarah Palin did brilliantly...she made multiple brilliant points.
