Issue:

Traffic crashes account for 44% of teen deaths in the U.S.  Three teens are killed each day when they drink alcohol and drive. At least six more die every day from other alcohol-related causes. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 6,002 people ages 16-20 died in motor vehicle crashes in 2003, alcohol was involved in 38% of these deaths.  A survey of college students in 2001 revealed that, for students under age 21, 26% drove after drinking alcohol, more than 10% drove after consuming more than five drinks, and almost a quarter rode with a high or drunk driver at least once in the 30 days before the survey.

Belief:

WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR CHILDRENS LIVES and reduce underage drinking and driving and the death toll related to alcohol. Fact: Teens top two heros are parents according to a neilson survey! So set a good example, don't drink and drive and talk with your teens about the risk of drinking and driving.

Here in the UK we have a very big problem with teens drinking and then as well as driving, attacking people who remonstrate with them sometimes leading to the death of that person. We all have to play our part in educating our children about drink and the sometimes fatal outcome of their actions.

Well there are some responsible people is this world that know their limits and can imbibe alcohol without crashing into people. Remember to eat before and during drinking. Drink beer or mixed drinks with lots of ice. Do not do shots. If you can, elect a designated driver, who will need a place to park. Know yourself, stick to your limits, and if you realize that you are in no condition to drive call a friend or a taxi. It's not worth the risk, one you could get arrested and more importantly you could end up taking an innocent life. Living with that is not worth that last drink before you hit the road.

its not only for "teen" its for everybody's warning.. dont drive when u drink. and bars should not have parking lot for that matters
