Madness....Scandal....put HBP back to Nov 08...

If I met the person who made the release date decision, I would punch him or her in the grill (face for those who are wondering). The movie might make more during the summer but, really, will the amount be significant? It seems the cost for making the films is increasing and money comes first. WB, you need to realize you have angered and insulted YOUR customers. I would hate to do it, but I may just wait for the DVD and only pay $1 to watch the film. That would be 4 less movie tickets from my family.

I reviewed many of the responses that our fellow pledgers have posted and I feel that anger and hostility will only prevent any recognition of this campaign. I do agree that IF the H.P. movie is completed, it should be released at its original release date. I think it is quite disrespectful for anyone to lure the fans of a particular genre into believing that a movie is going to be brought out on a certain date, only to change that date and damper the anticipation and interest. H.P. is an awesome adventure and should be released to the fans as promised, not so it can be released at a different date to make more money.

you r biggest losers wb bcoz u don't know how popular is harry . if we also have our exams in november then also we'll go and watch it . we can't wait till july . but one can happen 4 sure that our fustration on u may effect its money price on cinema

If it's finished it should be released! Screw the American summer. Not all fans are schoolkids!

What are they talking about? They are going to postpone the release date of the most awaited movie of the year! The best movie series that i ever seen!!!

Ridiculus is what I would say to WB execs who think this is their decision. Harry Potter is only what it is today because of the fans who have invested time and money. You may have the contract but we have the real power. Boycott the release weekend if it stays in July. We'll still get a great movie and they will lose millions!!!!

Ridiculous. Putting 'profit' before the will of the people usually ends up making people angry and therefore reducing profits anyway. Just a stupid decision, Warner Bros. Your brand has taken a heavy blow.

WB: Do not disrespect your very loyal fans. We do not deserve this. Stick to your original date.

to WB president! if your talking about the the money and the rate of people watching HBP, it would be lesser if it's on july 2009...if they are really HP fans they're going to watch it no matter what hectic schedule each have. And what's the good point on moving it so far when the movie is already finished.
WB will be disappointing billions of people around the world.

what the! everybody's going to be mad.....everybody should protest....billions of people is craving to watch it on november...then their going to move it on july 17 2009.....
put it back on the original premier...maybe its ok to move the premier....but not next year...why not december 25(it's christmas)....if they are worrying too much about the rate of people watching it would rate very high on christmas...i hope the messages of harry potter avid fans will reach WB.

How ironic is this!!! Two weeks after the long-awaited debut of the trailer, and now WB wants to move it to next year??? I don't think so. And today I saw 'The Clone Wars', a day after WB announced their news, and since HBP trailer was in it, it should stay. A lot of people have been waiting for the 6th installment, and postponing it will only lose interest. Look at what has happened to other things that happened like this in the past: There is a TREND.

I'm in denial! I have waited so much for this movie and they just decide to move it to July for no good reason! It's too long to wait. We have already waited a year and a half. Besides, if they keep prolonging the movies then the actors will get too old and probably have children before the two seventh-book movies come out!!!

Original readers are now in their twenties! this story was intended to last the seven years of Harry at Hogwarts, so why do WB think they can drag it out endlessly? It loses impact. NOn-readers have already lost the thread of the story in waiting more than a year between movies. It's just a grab for longer lifespan of the merchandise and therefore more royalties --- fans are not being considered.
