I think it all comes to money, creedy vultures!! I was all hyped and ready for the release in November. Now I will not go see it when it comes out in 2009!!

I find it horribly greedy to delay the release of a much anticipated movie solely for profit.

It would indeed be nice if you could see your way clear to stop the delay of this release. Many of the fans have waited long periods of time for this. I think you should think of the millions of fans that pay hard earned money to your products before you make such decisions. Regards

One more year ?come on .... i hate marketing ... please release the movie this year , think about all the people that are waiting for... you will not get more people to go to cinema , i know the idea yes is summer and childer and students are in vacation and they will go see the movie, yeah right ... yes maybe a lit a bit more children(8-12 years) but the serios funs (16+) they will get mad ,they will be angry and you will lose some funs. I`m a big fun of all the harry potter universe (books,movies,games etc.) and yeah this delay is a big DISAPOINTMENT for me.

Harry potter 6 should stay in 2008. We've been waiting long enough for it.

Changing the release date isn't going to affect how many people watch it, unless the numbers go down due to waiting until July. I think they should release it during the season that the movie was set in. Plus, usually the first instinct is the best, so WB should just stick with the first date they announced to the public.

I think Half Blood Prince should be released this year. We as fans waited too long as it is for this movie to be released. WB thinks it will make as much money as the Dark Knight did upon its release in July. I have bad news for them. The only reason Dark Knight made so much is possibly because of the death of the great actor Heath Ledger. It had nothing to do with the time it was released. Harry Potter will make as much money in July as it would in November, and I really think it's wrong for the fans who are paying 7.50 or more to see a movie to wait until July. Changing the date of the movie release is not going to change people's minds about who likes the films or not! Come on WB, change the release date back to the way it was for god's sake!

I totally agree. I was so excited when I first found out that it was coming out on November 21 and then when they had switched it I was really upset. I was so looking forward to going to see that in November.
