Lighten up. Any picture of a middle eastern man can have a name attached to it, Jesus, Mahommed they are works of imagination. There is no picture of the prophet Mahommed (pbwh). The practice of illustrating histories with pictures contains no intent to offend and is done in total innocence.
Remove the pictures. At least the good Muslims of the world deserve our respect. I love Jesus and would not want cartoons of him posted on the Internet. Leave it to a Dutch Jew to stir up trouble.

Leave it as it is, what the fuss about a non issue? Since Jesus is also a prophet as per Islamic belief, he should not be depicted anywhere in any form. Is anyone in the west or Christiandom ready to entertain this demand? Those people who do not want their Mohammad be depicted in any picture or drawing, should turn their head the other way, period. If faith foundation is so week that drawing of an (imaginary) image of a guy who lived some 14 hundred years ago in desert amongst the most backward (in terms of civilization) people results in shaking the foundation of the faith; then it may be advisable to tell the faithful, leave your faith and become faithless!
You appear to have wrong perception about Islam. Contrary to your assertion, muslims never demand that the Christiandom's portraites & statues of Jesus Christ be removed - although the muslims themselves would not draw or make such portraites & statues. You may please notice that muslims respect the views of the christians about how (i.e. the manner) they would honour their prophet - although muslims share the belief in Jesus's (pbuh) prophethood.
Muslims never said that their faith was shaken by the picture. You are here misinterpreting. Your prescription "to become faithless" is not tasteful.
I do strongly condemn your use of the word "guy" and the style of writing about our Prophet (PBUH). Please stop this sort of style (which you had earlier tended to adopt in your previous posts) if you have at all any human values in you. I WOULD AGAIN SAY - PLEASE STOP. Please don't be vindictive.
although it is slightly lax in it's use, "guy" is a completely appropriate word to use. If a person is male, they can be called man, guy, male, whatever. They all have the exact same label attached to them. *~think independantly, and for the future~*
Many thanks for your sincere admission that 'guy' is slightly lax in its use. But I have a difficulty in understanding your effort of drawing equivalence of those different words. If the word is "slightly lax", then logically it could not be "completely appropriate" or have "the exact same label".
Don't remove the pictures, leave them, leave them, they are funny to look at.

Removing the picture would only prove that they respect the muslim sentiment. If they ask for freedom, it has already been exercised. So please remove it out of respect.
The muslims say that they respect all the prophets of Abrahamic tradition including those before him and also all other holy religious persons of all religions & faiths outside the Abrahamic tradition. The muslims are constrained by ISLAM to do or even utter anything unrespectful about any faiths or their holy prophets, and they respect them to such extent that they would not draw any picture of them eventhough their presentday followers might do. All know that there are some difficulties in the written texts of the Old Testament which are to be taken with sympathy (rather than literally), and there some prophets are described with such blemishes which the Jews & Christians would be ashamed to be even reminded or referred to, and all people of this forum would be happy to know that the muslims outright reject those blemishes put on the prophets. Yet the muslims regard those prophets as even their own prophets being precursor of the Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihay Wasallam, and the muslims would feel proud to declare that the blemishes were wrongly put there, but lest it hurts the feelings of Ahle-Kitab, they haven't so far even mentioned the said difficulties in this forum.
To mention those difficulties in the Old Testament would be perfectly legal in any country including USA, yet the muslims have not exercised this legal right even to defend their "right of freedom from insult". It is deplorable that some people in this forum appears to seek refuse in NARROW LEGAL VALIDITY while trying to put insult on others.
It is not the time to play on minor differences among the Believers, or to throw insults on one another. We should all work together to promote mutual understanding to further the Universal Human Values which are at stake now at very End Times of the world. The muslims enjoy the same great humanistic values of the all the great religions - the judaism, the Christianity, the Buddhism etc although there are differences on theological issues. Mind that nowadays even the Humanistic values (not to speak of the very existence of GOD) are being questioned. Please let us work together for Humanity.

This is ridiculous--it's just a picture and people NEED/HAVE to get over it, not start wars over opinions and minor actions. Definitely leave the picture up! It's far time the world and it's thousands of religions cool it and make peace.

I did not realize that it was a Dutch Jew who placed the pictures of Muhammad. We along with the Muslims who are outraged may have the same dogs in this hunt. It was a Dutch Jew who raped and murdered the young American girl Natalee Holloway. It was also Dutch Jews who covered this crime up and refused us justice for Natalee. We are going to receive justice from these sadistic pricks in one fashion or the other.
