To: Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff, US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, Mexican Attorney General Daniel F. Cabeza de Vaca We, the undersigned, call for a resolution that will drop all charges against Duane 'Dog' Chapman, Tim Chapman and Leland Chapman by the United States and assist in the resolution in Mexico. These three men should be considered heroes who have successfully undertaken a service to bring in convicted felons to justice. Join us in support of the Chapmans. Your signature will go a long way. We will continue to update the powers to be on the support. Quick Background: On June 18, 2003, the Chapman's arrested Andrew Luster, one of "America's most wanted", in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Hours after finding Luster, the three were arrested and imprisoned in Mexico, and charged with unlawful deprivation of liberty and illegal seizure. After spending seven days in jail in Mexico, the three were only freed after they posted their own bail. Andrew Luster was returned to the U.S. and imprisoned to begin his 124 year sentence for the rape of three women in California. It didn't end there. On September 14, 2006 the three were arrested by US Marshals. They are currently free on $500,000 bail. They have been required to wear ankle monitors while they wait for the extradition to Mexico where they could face up to four years in prison.

i wish thy would just leave dog and his & his son alone thy are doing there job to keep us safe from all these worthless people that can't find a job and work for there money thy rather steal for us people bearley making it with are self's so they can have ther drugs. and we get screwed in the back by those thieves. i wish i was in good shape because i would send all the drugges and thieves back to jail and throw the key away so they can learn not to steal from us poor people that's barely making it.

Dog did good and deserves a bloody medal! What wrong did he do by making the world a safer place to live. I take my hat off to him and the rest of them. They need a pay rise not a prison sentence. Good luck, hope to hear good news soon! x

i think that the "dog" did good. Its stupid that the mexicans are trying to punish him and his family. I am as i write this watching a dog episode on bravo. Ive only just been watching the programme for about just over a week and enjoy watching it. I do have to admit it was a bit of a shock to find out hes got a warrant on him for doing his job ! that sucks ! GO THE DOG !!

we have watched the dog show from day one.there should be more of that sort of family out there.we could not belive what we saw on the show that night. we are right behind beth dog &family.

I have been raped. I believe there are many women out there who have also been raped and kept silent. After reading some of the comments I can see why the silence continues. I only ask one thing , stop for five minutes and think about your mother , grandmother , sister or your Aunt being violated in the most personal and humiliating ways. And then to add insult having a statue of limitation on this crime. I pray everyday for God to help me forgive my rapist but I also pray that he stays in jail so another mother, grandmother ,sister or aunt does not have to go through this. God Bless Dog. Sherrie O.

I support and commend his work within the USA, but one has to fully understand the laws of the land before committing ones self to such an act (with good intent or not) thus if you have broken the laws of Mexico (intentionally or unintentionally and in good will or not) then one MUST stand in court to face the alleged changes. (in Mexico or the USA) If one doesn’t, one runs the risk of being hypocritical and thus no better than the people he hunts. The laws are there to abide and for our security. Not for us to take in to our own hand. We all have Rights Convicted or not!

I wonder what your opinion would be if someone close to you was raped or murdered. Would you be so quick to say that the person who captures the rapist or murderer should be persecuted in a court of law or would you be forever grateful to him/her for doing what the local authorities could not or would not do? If your answer is that you would stand by your original opinion, then I hope for everyone's sake that you never get into a relationship and that you never have children.

Very nicely put oliver....I agree That he should atleast stand trial....I do not think he deserves jail time.....but in the end thats up to the courts to decide.

I would just like you to think what would have happened if Dog had left luster to cross the border and get away?? He would still be out there now walking the streets living the free life ready and able to rape again?? I agree that laws are there for reasons and no one is above the law, but he wasnt cross for fun he was after a very wanted fugative and good cam of this i feel they should all be warned and that be the end of it!!

To Helen F I am not suggesting that dog and his colleges have not done the right thing! They have brought and criminal to the proper authorities in the correct country, who was thus tried and convicted of this heinous crime. BUT they broke the law in doing so! Bounty hunting and the detaining of people in this manner is highly illegal in Mexico. Dog should have known this before crossing the border and take into consideration that he was breaking the law of the land in his actions. Two wrong do NOT make a right. Dog has to be very careful that he stays on the right side the law. He is NOT a police officer his is a bounty hunter. With limited capabilities. If he breaks the laws he should be treated as everyone else is, irrespective of the work that he does is good or bad. He has but him self in a bad situation because, he has gone abroad and broken the law of that country and returned home where his acts were perfectly legal. To put in prospective if an American (who is used to the self defence law) was to kill someone here in the UK in self defence he would be tried for manslaughter, where as if that happened in America he would not be tried of a crime. Laws change from country to country doesn't make the right or wrong. But they still laws!

To nelson b Your comment is very stupid and ignorant. Dog, Tim and Leland did the right thing by catching that filthy rapist. I have been raped and it has violated my life and Dog and his team have stopped this man from raping further women. I think Dog, Beth, Leland, Tim, Duane, Lisa and the rest of the family are great. They treat all of the criminals with respect and try and help them if they have a drug problem so they can turn their lives around for the better. Your comment about Beth - Well it's pathetic. Personally I admire what Dog did. In my opinion some crooked official in the Mexican government wants Dog prosecuted because they lost alot of money when that rich sicko rapist was taken into custody. I'm sure he was spreading money around to keep from being arrested, and Dog went in and got justice for the victims! Dog should not only be spared from serving jail time, he should be awarded for getting this pervert off the streets and in jail where all rapists belong. If nelson does not like the show, he shouldn't watch it. Respecting the views of others does not include stopping nelson from degrading people purely because of their looks. Calling Dog a dork, and calling Beth walking cleavage, only makes nelson look ugly himself on the inside.

the lawyers git payed, the judges get payed, we do more in our courts to keep the mexican drug dealers and crazys out of our jails than we do for the honest , citizens of the USA, this has hit pretty hard around here,,,,, about as much as the more than a few of our patrol agents that are dealing with the Mexican gov. I live in Texas we believe in hard justice and law abiding.. I will say lots of prayers for Dog and the family. ALOHA my children and I lived in HI for years,, it was a dream
