To: Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff, US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, Mexican Attorney General Daniel F. Cabeza de Vaca We, the undersigned, call for a resolution that will drop all charges against Duane 'Dog' Chapman, Tim Chapman and Leland Chapman by the United States and assist in the resolution in Mexico. These three men should be considered heroes who have successfully undertaken a service to bring in convicted felons to justice. Join us in support of the Chapmans. Your signature will go a long way. We will continue to update the powers to be on the support. Quick Background: On June 18, 2003, the Chapman's arrested Andrew Luster, one of "America's most wanted", in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Hours after finding Luster, the three were arrested and imprisoned in Mexico, and charged with unlawful deprivation of liberty and illegal seizure. After spending seven days in jail in Mexico, the three were only freed after they posted their own bail. Andrew Luster was returned to the U.S. and imprisoned to begin his 124 year sentence for the rape of three women in California. It didn't end there. On September 14, 2006 the three were arrested by US Marshals. They are currently free on $500,000 bail. They have been required to wear ankle monitors while they wait for the extradition to Mexico where they could face up to four years in prison.

i just sent out emails to about 60 ppl i know to sign the petition here, i could send to another 25 or so still, plus post on about 50 message forums i am a member of go Dog! be free! a good guy doing a good thing and yet theres still some ppl who cut that down what a crazy world theres always someone out there that doesnt like you, no matter who you are, and evne if its for no good reason ppl are pretty crazy wow.....

I think there should be more familys like Duane Dog Chapman's. They can't jail him he was doing everyone a faver by getting that rapest off the streets. Just think of how many womens lifes he's saved by removeing him from the street. Duane did the right thing and now his facing jail Just think of would have happene if he hadn't do it. Their'd be more women raped and believe it a bad thing to have to happen to you. I should know i was raped by a gang of ten lads it was aweful and i wouldn't want it to happen to anyone else. The world would be a better place with more duane dog chapman's and family i'd fell alot safer knowing there was.

You comments are incorrect You are missing the big picture and accuse the wrong person. While innocent people get involved in some of the captures, It is not Dog that put them there but the person who they seek. I think he handles the situation well pulling kids from the scene so they don't have this image of their parents getting hauled out. It is very easy to be a critic. Take a look at yourself and ask the question what have you done to improve society. Then rethink what 'Dog' is doing. You might have a different perspective.

Kane i agree with you if we had a guy like dog in everytown, evercity, everystate there would be alot of innocent people being saved and alive today free from one less drug pusher everyday.
