Description:

We the undersigned wish the FX network  to honor it's contract with Denis Leary/Peter Tolan and the cast of Rescue Me by renewing the show for it's fifth season. This petition will show that Rescue Me  has a loyal fan base who thinks there are still stories to be told about the members of FDNY's ladder 62. Leaving the 4th season finale as the end of the show results in too many unanswered questions. The fans want a 5th season to bring a conclusion/resolution to several plots lines, and FX must realize it would be worth their while (ratings wise) to renew the show.

I absolutly love this show, I am going to school to be a firefighter and I can say that my whole class loves this show. I love the fact that they bring a female firefighter into the show! great touch female fire fighters need more reconition! Bring this show back!!

Rescue Me is one of the best shows on television, it would be a shame if there were no fifth season.

I agree. Ending the show would be devestating.  There are way too many unanswered questions.  Will Tommy ever find out that Sheila druged him and started the beach house fire? Will he ever have a conversation with Conner? Will Shiela ever be at peace with Jimmy's death? Will Franco ever find true love? Will Shawn ever find the right girl? Will Probie ever get the respect he deserves? What's gonna happen when Tommy finds out Black Shawn is dating his daughter? There are just way too many things still left to resolve.  I have fell in love with this show from the first season and think it deserves at least one last season; and I think the fans deserve it as well for their support and dedication.
