Firefly and Serenity fans! This petition I created in the hopes that our aggressiveness, and loyalty to bring back our favorite tv show and movie are noticed. Joss Whedon has created an extra-ordinary universe that was stripped right from under us loyal fans, and a movie that could have potentially been made into a sequel and prequel. I urge every Firefly, every Serenity, every Joss Whedon, every Western and SciFi fanatic to vote for the return of Firefly and Serenity. If the fans of Jericho can bring back their show from hibernation, then we should be able to resurrect ours!

Firefly was a great series that was so wrongly cancelled and replaced with some of the worst series ever created.

PLEASE FEED THE "FIREFLY NEED"!!! I got "hooked" on Firefly through the movie Serenity. We just got Netflix & my husband (who could care less about ANY series :))is watching Firelfy over & over. I figure it has a little "something for everyone" PLEASE FEED THE "FIREFLY NEED"

this show is better than a lot of scifi out there. it's dynamic and interesting, the people gel well together and the stories are good.

This was a fantastic show. Although it may be difficult to cast quite a few of the actors as they have other commitments. Contracts could be signed for the near future. I mean c'mon Castle?!?

PLEASE bring this show back, it ended way too soon! The cast, writing and direction was fantastic, it already has a HUGE rabid fan base, and is easily something that would do extremely well, as long as the network shows the series in the correct order!

It's also a shame Fox said no way in hell, but that is fox. They get a good show, so they cancel it. They canceled Firefly, The Simpsons (Twice), Futurama, and a bunch of other shows, all of which turned into big hitters. They ought to fire all of the people in charge of that.

I love Firefly and Serenity -and I've only recently found out about them. I was only 11/12 when the show first aired, and was completly unaware of it's existence. In the recent years, comming off of shows like BSG, Lost, Supernatural and all the new Sci-fi shows, the Starwars Prequels, etc, I think now we have a generation perfectly ready for Firefly -a generation who doesn't know about westerns, but fused with Sci-Fi creates the perfect medium for them to reach out to that forgotten genre, like I have.

I'm trying to keep an open mind and positive about a return for Firefly. I've purchased the comic books and I just purchased the new release "Still Flying". Not to mention, I've purchased multiple copies of the complete series and more than a couple copies of Serenity (BDM). In reality, the only thing that will bring back Firefly or Serenity is strong DVD sales When I have some vacancies in my Netflix queue I'll always throw a copy of Serenity in there to bolster its rental numbers. If all the fans of the series that have netflix did just that, the numbers would rise exponentially and help with the justification of a remake... We can only do so much, but every little bit helps.
