Firefly and Serenity fans! This petition I created in the hopes that our aggressiveness, and loyalty to bring back our favorite tv show and movie are noticed. Joss Whedon has created an extra-ordinary universe that was stripped right from under us loyal fans, and a movie that could have potentially been made into a sequel and prequel. I urge every Firefly, every Serenity, every Joss Whedon, every Western and SciFi fanatic to vote for the return of Firefly and Serenity. If the fans of Jericho can bring back their show from hibernation, then we should be able to resurrect ours!

My husband and I miss Firefly. We loved the cast's chemistry - we'll really miss Wash/Alan Tudyk. The dialogue was sharp and witty.
Some network - Sci-Fi? FX? - should realize there's a waiting fanbase.
Our gift to friends is always the complete series DVD set. Everyone gets hooked.

Firefly is one of the best shows I've seen in my lifetime, and it doesn't surprise me that the idiots at Fox cancelled the show so abruptly. They seem to have a propensity for canceling revolutionary programing to quickly. Anyone remember Star Trek, or Dark Angel, or even John Doe. They never seem to mind ending a show at a critical point in the story. The war was about to start on Dark Angel, and you just found out that Does' best friend was the one working against him. But I guess when your making that kind of money you can afford to be an ****.

Firefly is a great show, alot better than alot of the other junk you have floating around on the air these days, and you cancel a perfectly good thing. Bring it back, so I don't have to be subjected to these psuedo-reality shows anymore.

The show was genius. Any company willing to buy the rights from FOX would turn a profit from this show.

And the show would automatically do better this time around since it's fanbase has spread drastically from what it was at the time it first aired.

We need more originality on T.V. Cookie cutter shows like My Name is Earl get old quick, but Firefly doesn't.

Firefly/Serenity was immense. Funny, action packed, tense, emotional Everybody who I've made watch it agrees! (it's much better written than recent sucessful sci-fi films, new star wars, indiana jones)

I would push my grandmother down a flight of stairs if it would bring back Firefly... and if I had a grandmother. I can only watch the DVDs so many times... though I always seem to be able to squeeze just one more viewing out of those poor over-used discs.

Firefly is one of the best shows I have ever seen. Life isnt complete without caption tight pants (nat fillion). You need to bring it back. Look how well Serenity did... We want our Mal..... I know some of our people pasted on in Serenity, but maybe the series could start back where it left before Serenity, or maybe the allanice could have some medical magic that wash can be back. Our show has to have wash back. Him and Zoe was wonderful together. I know if fox dont take, go back to sci-fi or go to another station. Someone of them has to beleive in us loyal fans who want our show back

We watch the series every night here in Iraq. Now that Fox must be aware they cancelled a hit show by screwing with the episodes and showing them out of order. Seerenity makes money and still Fox is not sure why it is a hit. Fire everyone working at Fox who was there during the time of cancellation. Then Joss plans a new show with Fox??? We do strange stuff in Iraq but not so much as letting someone attack your project then you go and work for them again? My guys watch Firefly as that "verse" is more real for them than the ones in Iraq or Afghanistan. Its good Sci Fi combat just like Space Above and Beyond.

The serenity universe has so many more stories to tell. Give it the chance to be the money spinner Buffy was, not to mention Babylon 5. There is a serious shortage of well-written Sci-fi out there, and Joss whedon and his team are among the best in the business.

I watched Serenity first a few times when it came out - loved it - then learned about Firefly a couple of days ago!!! So happy to find it, and watched all 14 episodes. Then watched Serenity again. I would love to see more. It really did end tooooooo soon.

Show was great ended to fast but in all honestly bringing it back would mean the loss of two characters from the series and you cant replace wash or book! though it would be lovely to see some new episodes and river tam in all her awesome might
