I'm 14 living in Malaysia, and i think teachers in my school don't even care about us at all!my mathematics teacher don't know how to speak english.huh??it's hard to understand what he said:( Submitted by Sam O. on Sun, 09/07/2008 - 03:21
I'm 15 living in the US, and I think taht teachers should actually give a care about us. My geography teacher last year (mr. pritchett) didn't care at all, and he didn't help and he called us dumb. My 2nd grade teacher practically HATED me, she adored the teachers pet and tried to fail me out of 2nd grade. Luckily my first grade teacher was at better odds with the principle. I think that if teachers don't care, they should get a new job and LEAVE US TEENS ALONE!!! Submitted by Jacquelyn s. on Fri, 08/22/2008 - 02:45

I think you are mostly correct, however, I would suggest that you utilize "spell check" prior to writing something like "BECAUSE WE ARE NOT ADULTS DOES NOT MEAN WE ARE IDIOTS". Granted...spelling mistakes does not make you an "idiot" but, it does not aid in validating your opinion. Submitted by Pat M. on Sun, 04/13/2008 - 13:51
As a mother of two teen girls I agree. One of their teachers tells them they are stupid. Says they will only be able to work at Mcdonalds. Teachers should think before they open their mouths. There should be consequences for their actions too. Submitted by Stephanie C. at Facebook on Sat, 04/12/2008 - 18:44
I've seen this happen so many times. When an entire class is failing, it is always the teacher's fault--clearly what they are doing is not working. I have had my share of great teachers and awful teachers. All students can learn at least something from great teachers; however, the students in the awful teachers' classrooms must be motivated, self-learners or fail. It's so sad. And teacher unions prevent awful teachers from being terminated and replaced by a better teach and force our children to suffer for the sake of an awful teacher's badly chosen career.
