When I read the book(s), I had someone visually "perfect" in mind like..say Brad Pitt. HOWEVER, when I SAW Rob in a few interviews, then started seeing clips/trailers..he nails it. Period. Edward PHYSICALLY is something different to every one of the 25+ people who have read the book. You can't cast that..theres no way they would ever find anyone who everyone agreed with was the right choice. But what they DID do is find someone who could make me believe he was Edward. His carriage, his manner of speaking, mannerisms, vulnerability, depth...all of that got nailed by Pattinson in the movie. I'm a fan of the book series first, movie second and I'm happy with Pattinson as the lead.

To be honest before i even herd that the movie came out i was imagining Robert Pattison as Edward because of the facial appearence and that Robert and Edward have similar perspectives. No i am not stalking him because i am in baltimore and he is in some other area. I really would like to meet him though. Not as a crazy fan but becuase it turns out that i also have the same personality as Edward and want to really see if he really did see himself as Edward when he had portrayed the image of Edward.

I think hes gorgeous, he has an awkward personality, but its cute, it just sucks that he doesnt like children, I think thats weird. I also think it'd be super cute if him and Kristen Stewart were to get together, they have some chemistry on and off set!

that's true Emily. I think everyone has a different imprssion of Edward in their mind. I admit as i said before I wasn't crazy for him. I just saw him I think either access hollyord or entertainment tonight and he just was very cocky. Ok, that swayed my judegment of him. However, I still will see the movie and see if my decision is still the same. In the interview his hair was everywhere and falling in his face. I think he can afford a comb & brush.
I don't know his work so his acting skills are yet TBD in this movie. I also don't know too much about the actress. Can anyone share some inof what work she's done?

Well, he looks okay, I guess, with the right make-up and style. But when my friends and I found out that Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter was playing Edward, we were like "You have GOT to be kidding me!" We didn't find him very good looking in Harry Potter. But, when I saw the preview, he looked to be alright. Let's just say, Robert Pattinson isn't what most fans were...expecting.

I don't want to anger any Rob fans...he is cute..but I don't think the majority of people actually see Edward as Rob...I don't really think that there could be an absolutely perfect Edward especially not one Actor that would meet every single one of Edward fan's expectations
