not a chance rudy. sorry bub but if i wanted a fascist in the white house id vote for one who isnt so transparent - oh but there arent any republicans who arent fascists of one sort or another. ill stick with a REAL patriotic american. RON PAUL 2008!! Submitted by Doris T. on Sun, 01/27/2008 - 11:56
Why can't we pay for education health etc through a voluntary Foundation system where companies such as Microsoft, Celebrities choose a foundation of their choice and set up a board to subsidize and oversee their contributions. For example Bill Gates and Michael Dell contributed to Bono in Africa in order to promote their new products. Give these people incentives to give and they will give. Do note tax but make incentives to achieve our collective aims.Government can promote but not run such endeavors. It should be based on the college endowment idea. Agree with Pete A - there still may be more to review to see which better fits a person's life. Good to see that a candidate cares about simplifying things for the every day American. Submitted by J Richard O. on Tue, 01/15/2008 - 15:51
EXCLLENT THOUGHT - BUT CAN IT REALLY HAPPEN... jro Submitted by Cathleen O. on Tue, 01/15/2008 - 14:53
If Rudy is the one to lower our taxes...he's my MAN! Submitted by Terri G. on Tue, 01/15/2008 - 01:21
I think we need to explore options such as this as the current tax system is so biased against the middle class. Submitted by Bob S. on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 20:46
I'm all for the cuts and three rates. We should all pay similar percentages regardless of income. Submitted by l m. on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 19:04
Our culture thinks more is better, but more means confused and often defeated. Simplicity and less stress is always a plus. Submitted by Mary Beth D. at http://www.lowermytax.blogspot.com/ on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 16:34
I would think just the savings on paper would allow for a tax cut. Great idea! Submitted by Valerie S. on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 16:32
FAST sounds great! Using it and seeing if it actually works or brings more headaches will be the test. Some things on paper look swell but actually are not. Submitted by Sergey Z. on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 15:32
less rules - easy to pay and track. good approach for both sides. Submitted by Aaron W. on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 15:14
Not only is Rudy's plan great for taxpayers, he's the candidate who can work across the aisle to get it passed. Submitted by Mary Beth D. at http://www.mikedever.blogspot.com/ on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 16:39
And that's important. You can talk all you want but you have to get it passed. Submitted by Amanda M. on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 15:03
This does sound good but let's face reality, our taxes will never be cut. Our country is billions of dollars in debt and no end in sight. When Clinton passed the tax refund in 2000, our country was almost out of debt. With the nice refund we all received in June of that year, our country was dragged back down by millions of dollars. Now with the war in Iraq, taxes will not be cut of many years comming. Submitted by Dave P. on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 14:58
Go Rudy Go! lower taxes and make the economy robust. raise taxes and make the econmy a bust Submitted by david c. at http://www.lowermytax.blogspot.com/ on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 13:36
This is the type of cogent analysis that should make Rudy our next President. Submitted by James S. at http://www.lowermytax.blogspot.com/ on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 13:05
I agree with Ron Paul throw the bums out. 9 million is too many words. Something needs to be done. Submitted by Pete A. on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 11:53
The plan looks good at face value, but I there is always a lot to review to see how it really fits. I would welcome changes like Giuliani has put out there because overall I think it would be benificial. Submitted by Debbie F. on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 11:21
I support changing the tax laws, we all probably agree we need a change ...Giuliani plan sounds like a good idea!. Submitted by Kane B. at http://lowermytax.blogspot.com/ on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 05:58
For one, I want lower taxes. I am also in favor of a simple tax form since my filing continues to add more forums each year. It sure keeps my tax accountant happy. For those who don't want to rifle through papers and document all deductions and for many who are renting the simple one page form will improve speed and accuracy in completing ones taxes. I just want a simpler way to file my taxes without requiring me to take several weekends to compile documentations. Sounds good to me, any effort towards revision of the tax system is a step in the right direction. Submitted by liz s. at http://www.johnquillen.blogspot.com/ on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 03:04
If this gives me a opportunity for bigger tax cuts I am all for it. Submitted by Thomas L. at http://www.lowermytax.blogspot.com/ on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 02:48
I pledge my support for Rudy’s campaign to simplify taxes. Rudy has the vision, leadership and team to see it through. Submitted by Adam S. at http://www.lowermytax.blogspot.com/ on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 01:55
I think this is a great idea and I support this plan. If it is simplified maybe I'll be able to do my families taxes instead of spending money on an accountant. Submitted by Irene K. on Mon, 01/14/2008 - 00:57
I will investigate Rudy's plan. I totally agree that the tax code needs to be simplified; it has gotten way too complex. I have questions about how this simplifies management for the IRS - it seems this will add MORE words to the federal tax code. Loading People... |
