i hate animal testing AND the people who test on the animals why don't the tester test the products on themselves and see how painfull it is for the animals.

I feel the government,needs to step in,there is no need for testing on shampoos or any product or research their using animals too torture them with, we wouldn't do that to a human being,we have methods now where we have products that are not tested on animals which are test free,I think people need to open their eyes and get a backbone,especially the government and actors who own animals also and put a stop to this ,animals trust us,to take care of them abuse is not a way to show it!!!!!

This cruel and senseless practice needs to stop. Most makeup companies and Pharmeceutiacal companies do unnessasary tests that torture a variety of species. It needs to be stopped. Animals have just as much of a right to a humane life as we do!

I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch the video, but I know what it shows is true. One good book that tells about animal testing from the animal's point of view is "The Plague Dogs." It's written by the same man who wrote "Watership Down" It tells about two dogs and what happens to them in an animal testing lab from their point of view. It's gentle so older kids, I wouldn't recommend it for younger children, can be made aware about cruelty to animals.

Please don't base your opinion on a work of fiction. Apologies in advance if I spoil the book for you, but The Plague Dogs is no documetary.

Similarly, plase don't base your opinion on a single video. Everyday animal testing is more like this:

Don't forget that animal research has it's share of jerks, just like the remainder of the population. To base your opinion of an entire industry on the actions of the cruelest researchers that PETA has to offer is analogous to judging the entire Islamic world on the basis of footage from 9/11. Surely, you would realize that al-Qaeda does not represent the vast majority of muslims; similarly, you should realize that these lab assistants do not represent the vast majority of animal researchers.
