We as a family have enjoyed this show enormously, it is one of only a few that we can watch as a family. They promote values, morals and is entertaining at the same time. I have missed this show more than any other show in about 20 years.

I just started watching FNL. I was sick over one weekend and I went online and I watched season 1 & 2. This show is powerful, I don't even like football and I love this show. The writting, directing, acting, it is all amazing. I wish more young people would watch this show, not 90210 or those other crap shows. NBC please keep this show on the air, it truly makes an impact.

I think they have put some of the dumbest shows on, when they should put the ones on with the most success.That includes friday night lights!

at least these story lines are what we all go through or have gone through in our lives. COME BACK!! You guys always take the great shows off.

It seems that season 3 will air in October on Direct tv, and then it will re air early 2009 on NBC, so hang in there fans!!

Friday Night Lights is a great show with a great cast that can be watched by the entire family. It should be aired primetime between Mon. to Thurs. as Friday night many families are away. We do not have Direct TV. NBC is making a mistake. Please keep this great show going!

When we live in the times that we do and we get a show that finally brings families together .....and y take it off the air what gives ......I dont understand it had great ratings ......and it was a wonderful show that taught and crossed many lines of people of all ages ......I am banning your network along with several other of my friends and we are going to keep talking to other people . Maybe someone will listen .........thanks for letting me vent!!!!!!

This is one of the best family shows ......in this day and time we finally get a show that brings the family together and then you dont air it the following season......I will not be watching anything on your network unless you bring this show back on and i will spread the word !!

FNL is and has been the best and most realistic show on TV. Even though Friday is in the show's title I think playing it on Friday night last season resulted in a loss of viewers. This is a geat family show and on Friday night, families scatter. Please bring it back sometime in prime time Monday-Thursday and do it now!

This is a show with stellar acting and plots. I can't believe that it will not be on the network this autumn. There are very few dramas that are of this fine caliber. I am not a big TV wathcer but rarely missed the episodes of FNL. Keep it going!

NO WAY!! Only on Direct TV what a bunch of bull. I will not buy Direct TV just to see the show, you are so wrong not to put it back on NBC. I will not even leave my home when the show is on. Why punish the fans like this? Bring this brilliant show, the best written/acted/produced show on TV and one of the best family shows EVER, back to the network, Oct. 3. Please do what's right.

My favorite show on TV, have bought both DVD sets and watch them repeatedly. This seriously is the best "family" on TV, with the most authentic, real-life issues. Writing is brilliant, as is acting and all the tech/production qualities. Cancelling this, or continuing this absurd DirecTV plan, is such a horrific thought that it deeply saddens me.

Bring Friday Night Lights back to NBC for a full season! This show is gaining popularity. I only discovered it late last spring. I turned my husband on to it. We have since ordered and viewed both of the DVD seasons, and I have introduced it to friends, who have also ordered and seen both seasons on DVD. It has the best writing, casting and acting on television. It's catching hold. If you have to do the DirecTV deal to keep FNL alive this year, so be it, but by fall 2009 you need to return it to NBC starting in September. It is catching hold. We LOVE it, but we will NOT get DirecTV to see it.

C'mon allowing this to only be on Direct TV is totally ridiculous. Yes This would be a major bummer for us fans of the show. Please get it back in time for the new season. My wife and I both love the show and would be very disappointed if we don't get to see it continue. Needing to buy Direct TV just for this is wrong, maybe I should tell Dish if they don't help get it back I will change over.
