Issue:
Studies have proved that by the middle of this century, fishermen will have almost nothing left to catch. Middle class people will no longer be able to afford seafood. It's going to be too rare and too expensive.
Belief:
Proper fishing techniques can help maintain balance in marine life, and make seafood affordable so everyone from rich to poor can enjoy that mouth watering taste. Proper waste disposal of waste/chemicals from large companies is also a factor. We don't want the next generation to go without seafood.
The Marine Stewardship Council isĀ an independent, global, non-profit organization which was set up to find a solution to the problem of overfishing.
i work as a advanced waste water treatment plant operator. we are a surface discharge plant our waste water plant replenishes 2mgd (million gallons daily) back to the ocean you wouldent believe the diffrent chemicals and waste people are trying to get rid of.the grease, the oils the chemicals etc... if it got to the ocean thier would be a great deal of marine life loss.take action now between all the poultion killing marine life and the over fishing its true all the fish will be gone.
Look only to marine wildlife to know that global warming is here!! we ALL must do our part to stem the spread of this impending disaster. Education is the key & politicians neddto get this education!
