The N has announced that South of Nowhere has been cancelled. The reason for the cancellation is because The N is aiming for a younger audience. 

The second half of what could be the last Season is scheduled to begin airing on April 11, 2008.

South of nowhere deals with issues gays face on a daily bases. Even as a young adult I was drawn to this show. It reminds us that even the everyday tribulations can be overcome.

if south of nowhere is completely cancelled, i dont know why i would be watching tv anymore. i think if the-n is aiming for a younger audience they should send their suggestions to noggin. i also thought that the-n was intended for teens, not for an audience intended for a younger generation.

with this in mind, why should they cancel south of nowhere when there is still degrassi? both of these original n series have equivalent issues being dealt within the episodes.

my comment and everyones comment matters in this situation because south of nowhere touched alot of ppl and it can't be cancled and its helped me and everyone i knw and south of nowhere needs to show people its oka if your gay and i think straight people need to knw wat gays go through in life and south of nowhere shows that and i love the show and alot of people are mad that you are cancling it why would you do that?

when i said it wasnt for younger audiances i wasnt talking about south not being for them, i was talking about the reason for cancellation, read my previous post and this will make more sense!! please save south of nowhere!! post on the-n.com, watch it there, watch it everytime it comes on the-n, i was told it was because of poor ratings the show will be cancelled so put a stop to that by watching the show every chance you get!!! spread the word too!!!!

ahhhh i need south of nowhere!! it helps everybody!! it helps the gays realize themselves and accept themeselves and know that its ok to be themselves!!! and i know its not for a younger audiance.. what about degrassi tng? thats not for little kids!!!! and south of nowhere sends out a good message to non gays as well showing them that anyone can fall in love with anyone regardless of gender and you should allow yourself to love who you want to love!!!! please save south of nowhere!!! it would mean so much to so many people!!

why are you cancelling south of nowhere because if you cancell south of nowhere nobody is going to be watching the stuff you are going to put on the n nobody is going to watch the stuff you people put on for the young audience so I suggust that you please air south of nowhere back on the n.

This is not right. Put the show back on. There are millions of teens and young adults that this show talks to. Why take this off. Its not negative its a POSITIVE show and has positive messages. We need this show back on air because its hella sweet.

i think that south of nowhere sould continue not matter what.
I love this show and its stupid if you peoples continue to cancell it ok!!
