Stargate Alantis is one of the most decent shows on TV today to take it off would be very dumb. It is worth watching, so get your thinking caps back on and figure out new troubles for the Alantis team to overcome other than it being their last paycheck!!!

The last episode of SGA's 5th season really left me hanging. I feel left out of what is to happen...

Only for my husband's entertainment do I think you should save Stargate Atlantis. NOT for me, it's for my husband, really.

I was upset about Stargate Atlantis ending, too, BUT I saw the teaser for Stargate Universe at the end of Atlantis's last episode & am feeling optimistic & intrugued!

I think it's a moot point by now, since the last episode of Atlantis already aired, but I vote for keeping it going, too.

For those of you who, like me, LOVE your Stargate shows (Yow, Ben Browder!! Stargate SG-1, seasons 9 & 10, and Joe Flanagan, Stargate Atlantis, seasons 1 - 5!)there is a new Stargate show in the making that comes out later this year called, I believe, Stargate Universe. New characters and supposedly they'll be on a ship, similar to Star Trek, rather than on worlds, but still in the Stargate regions. I can't wait to get more of my Stargate fix I hope it's a good show as the last two were.

These Stargate series are/were my favorite, I would actually rush home to see them. Please save Stargate Atlantis - especially if thet sexy, gorgeous and talented Amanda Tapping stays!

Why is it they always want to take off or end a show thats really entertaining, documented, or just a good show and replace it with junk..... they have removed so many decent shows that were **** good and replaced them with just meanningless trash... especially in the area of comedy...

Joy is obnoxious. Interrupting serious discussion with attenmpts of humor with awful, stupid jokes or comments. I love the show, but like others I do stop watching at times because of her.

umm there not canceling SG-1 or Atalntis there are plans to amke to sG1 moveis a year and at elast 1 stargate atlantis movie a year last i heard....the movies started with continum and the series ended with ark of truth so i know its not as good but at least there not gone completley

Stargate Atlantis Has just gotten good it has taken a while for the characters to develop season 4 and 5 were by far the best and now its gone when its just getting good stargate universe will not be good enough it will be cancelled after its first season way before the characters can develop. Atlantis you have that development you have that chemistry between the actors its a great show it should not be cut after 100 episodes. seeing movies come out of atlantis 1 every 2 years will not be the same as seeing the episodes on a week-to-week basis. the development will be slowed and the story would have to be wrapped up in just 2 hours with the series you could get the massive arks that span like 3 or 4 episodes. And having the whole controversy about the cancelation of the series could be good if you bring up season 6 more people will watch it thinking "this show was supposed to be cancelled, but it was brought back it must be the best" more veiwers more ratings. stargate Sg1 Supposed to be cancelled after season 7 but then bang 3 more seasons. Atlantis is no where near ready to be brushed to the side for something else. Universe could not stand its ground against Atlantis. Atlantis as a TV series has so much more to offer dont change the format keep it going its all we ask.

Let's Save Atlantis & Sg-1...I know that there was a lot of more episodes in the making for these actors with all the worlds that have not been explored yet...the universe is so huge and between SG-1 and Atlantis they have not cracked 1/32 of the worlds out there...so save THE STARGATES!! GET it GOING!!for YEARS and YEARS!!

It's too bad. It took a bit for Atlantis to get good but season 4 was certainly beating SG1 in quality of writing at the same point in the series. I haven't seen season 5 yet but I was hoping to get a lot more.

I love Stargate Atlantis. I think they should continue because there are so many things they can do with it still. I mean, come on, there are always more bad guys in the galaxy right?
