Is a movie really worth that much more to MGM? I loved the series and am not one to buy movies so they will be loosing revenue from me.

I can honestly say that the ONLY reason I have satellite is for Stargate. A new series has been promised... I will give it a chance but with money tight right now, I will probably be cancelling my service without Stargate Atlantis.

The ratings for this show are fine and it is popular all around the world.
once again like all the other tv companies and channels they show there complete lack of respect of the veiwing public.
as there feelings on the subject are completely ignored.
and i hate to say this but if fans in the u.s feel badly treated then international fans of u.s shows are treated with utter contempt
i would say that i wish some of the other countries had the money to produce some quality sci fi,horror or fantasy shows.
but experience shows that here at least in england our tv companies are no better.
i am so fed up with reality and chat shows and other tv for chavs that goes on and on interminably for year after year.
its almost like they are trying to depress creative thought.
speaking of which while another quality show bites the dust before its time,at least its big and popular enough for them to give us an ending for our story in the form of a film ,but really how depressing it is.
we realise shows cant go on for ever but cant they let it come to a natural end in a season or two
it has at least a couple of good years surely.
really who makes these decisions its madness!!!!!!

Why not give the FANS what they want after all we are the ones watching. We also are the ones who can turn the channel!

Good thinking SciFi Channel. By cancelling all of the good 'SciFi original series', maybe you can have those writers work together to produce the first ever decent 'SciFi original movie'.

Both my husband and I were enthralled with every episode of Stargate (we own them all). How wonderful to continue the idea in a new series Stargate Atlantis. There is still so much to learn about each character and to build on with each character - how they see themselves, their relationships, their love life. How can you let it end without giving us all this? Please, please, please keep Stargate Atlantis!

I have been a fan of the Stargate series for quite sometime. You need to save the Atlantis series. You talk about demographics and you have people from early 20 to 50 plus range watching this show today. You have the potential to make another spin off and keep this going for another 5 year capturing your new demographic with the spin off allowing a smoother transition to the new show.

now that Stragate is not on I NEED Atlantis.
Its filmed in my home town Please keep it going.

There is a lot left to do for the Atlantis Crew. How can it be cancelled? This is one of the better shows period, not just sci fi, but any show. Please keep it going!

A travesty a sad joke a complete injustice. these are the fraises you are destined to hear muttered around the water cooler or quoted in the collage dorm hall. stargate atlantis is a great and well liked show that has weathered the slings and arrows of critics and come out on top. the cast has become a loved addition to the friday night life of many hard working people. now i ask what is to be done we must save the seriess. This my friends is something worth saving I love the chars. and the stories .. mccay has a super suit. comeon if you dont see the potintial of a episode involving him testing its limits and a physical encounter with ronin. the wraith still exist the asgard have returned and dont forget that the universe is infinite if you need writers. Your fans will be more than happy to help.. if you need funding again here we are if you need love you got it and much more because you have captured our hearts and minds in something we all can share a view of what could be and hope for the future.

Stargate Atlantis is my favorite serial. Please don't stop. I Regret Stargate SG1. It is posibile to reload Stargate SG1 and don't stop Stargate Atlantis?

keep stargate atlantis for 10 season like sg-1

this has my vote reading plot line i'm already not impressed. what were they thinking? did anybody else notice the plot is strikingly similar to voyager? it's already been done. please keep atlantis on. everytime they change try an reinvent a successful series it fails. even atlantis was shaky in the beginning. think about star trek enterprise was a total bomb. or the NEW knight rider HORRIBLE! a whole new stargate with new actors and a concept that's scarily like voyager in my opinion would have a 90% chance of failure. i'm going to blog all over there site saying not a good idea. do you think if the simpsons made a pilot just called bart it would be successful NO! why fix what's not broken......

What's with networks they get a good idea they drop it as soon as it becomes popular. It is like they hate to have a success or they fear the day it becomes less success. They get this idea in thier head quit while ahead,hey maybe we'll get a movie deal. Or maybe if they threaten us with cancel we'll scream enough they can ask more cash from networks or sponsors or next job offer. I am so tired of the spam they feed us with this "reality" garbage. Its all who wants to make a fool of themslelves for national tv not lets show public truely original shows. They pander to the lowest of the society and then wonder why society is becomeing less atentive and careing all they see is people being idiots and mimic it.

I say episodes each week instead of a movie.
