Description:

Members of Congress, We, the American public, support the legislation introduced by Congressman William "Lacy" Clay (H.R. 1236) to permanently authorize the Breast Cancer Research Stamp. This stamp, which expires 12/31/07 unless renewed, should be made permanent, eliminating the need for reauthorization every two years. To date, the stamp has raised more than $55.5 million for breast cancer research, the top-selling commemorative stamp in U.S. history! We need to continue to fund these research grants until we find a cure. We urge the Members of Congress to permanently authorize the Breast Cancer Research Stamp!

Forum Discussion for Save the Breast Cancer Research Stamp

This is such an easy way to fund cancer research. Save it!

We should do anything that we can to try and raise money for research. Never now if your mom, sister, best friend or yourself could be next. We need to fight this growing problem and give the women of the world as well as those men(does happen men get breast cancer) a chance at a better life

Please vote for this.  I just found out, today, that my best friend, whom I have known for 30 years, since we were in high school, has breast cancer and will be having both of her breasts removed.  Thanks. Betty
