Description:U.S. Marine Col. Simcock, the commander of USMC Regimental Combat Team 6 in Iraq, is asking for 6,000 POSITIVE emails, that's one for each Marine in his command. The Colonel is concerned about the effect of the negative barrage those Marines are getting through the elecronic media. So far they have only received 2,000 emails. Make sure your note is positive. Tell them about what's going on in your hometown. Thank them for what they are doing. Send best wishes and hope they get home soon. Just a few words and hit send, you're done. Here's the email. RCT-6lettersfromh@gcemnf-wiraq.usmc.mil Sign this petition so we know how many we still need to send. Remember, the Colonel needs another 4,000 emails. Tell a friend.

I just sent my email. I am an Army veteran living in Central Arkansas, and the support here is overwhelmingly positive. I also belong to a group at the VA that has members in it that range from Korea to Desert Storm. At least one of them has a son who has served multiple tours in both OIF and OEF. You can bet we tolerate no negativism about our troops from anyone.
