there is a negotiation on whether or not dakota fanning should play jane from the volturi in new moon (the sequel to twilight). i just was wondering who thinks she should play jane and who thinks she shouldnt?

she will be perfect....sweet face and she can act very good.I can't think of anyone else more fitting for the role

no way! she doesnt fit in the role! Jane has to be a mean person! Dakota cant act mean! she still has that innocent look, what with her age.

Well I like she'll be perfect for the part... I actually suggested her to a friend once before i knew she might get the role. She may look young but most rolse she has played are serious unchildlike parts. I like her.

No Way ! Shes definantly not a good part for the movie. I'm not going to like it as much as i would have because shes going to be playing jane. Jane isn't suposed to be a 15 year old girl that looks like shes 10. Like homestly people, I look older than her, anf i'm not 15 yet !

I'm not sure. I don't think she'd ruin the movie but i don't think that she was really meant for the part.

Ugh, this stinks. Jane is supposed to be ADULT, not a 15 year old who looks like she's 9. Blahhh.

no way can she handle this role!!! sure jane is supposed to look sweet but she still looks like a 10 year old, much less a grown up vampire!!!!

No way can a fifteen year old girl play an ADULT 800 year old vampire!!! She may act childish, but that doesn't excuse the fact that she's not!!! Ugh!! That ruins my day...

I think she's alright for Jane. When I saw the movie Push I though a lot about it and it made my descision clearer. YES! she would be perfect! Give her a dark due and make her look rebellious and she's be perfect. After all, Jane's an evil yet still innocent looking girl. Dakota looks innocent and with her great acting skills she could definately play half-evil!

uhmm..not that i have anything against dakota fanning, she's a good actress and all but she just isn't right for the role of jane...i mean c'mon, has anyone seen jodelle ferland, she's perfect for this role. if dakota gets cast as jane...i'll be upset, i really really really really really hope jodelle ferland auditions for jane and gets the part. who's with me ?

I don't think that she should be Jane because i pictured Jane as like an 8-10 year old with a black bob and lookng evil while still looking inocent.

That's exactly how i pictured her! I think someone like that should play her role. Not Fanning. Although, since she has already got the role they should definetly die her hair.

I agree, she is young, I'm still deciding too. But then again, it never explains how old Jane is as a human. Also, the book describes her as Bella thinking she was a young boy and as tiny as Alice.
Some people didn't think that the actors in Twilight would be good, but i think they all did amazing.
