In a statement, Michael Phelps said he “engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment. I’m 23 years old, and despite the successes I have had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner that people have come to expect from me.” He then promised it would never happen again.

Honestly, it is ridiculous how blown out of proportion it was. Why should celebrities/well-known people be crucified for things that no one else is?

So the guy smoked some pot. Who cares! Come on people can't you find something better to do with your time. Imagine if you gave the world a drug test what do you think you would find? Get a Life!!!

His statement was appropriate. He is human and allowed to make mistakes.

The hydroponics made him hydrodynamic. He smoked the bong and thought he was a fish and got the gold. No one should apologize for something that awesome. This should actually turn into a case study for the positive effects of weed (never smoked it before so don't make those type of comments)
