Description:

Please e-mail, mail/call the message below to your local House Rep(s): www.house.gov/writerep/ It would also help to bring this to the attention to three of your friends. Why is the US the only major Industrialized country without Single Payer Universal health Care? Why do our citizens have to go to Canada to get more affordable medicine.? Why are our Docors being forced to stay away from Preventive Health Care? Why are HMO and Insurance Company Cost Accountants making medical proceedure decisions? Why is HR 676(Medicare For All) still being stonewalled in a sub-committee, and why haven't you co-sponsored this needed bill?

Forum Discussion for SPUHC(Single Payer Universal Health Care)now!

If every American Company earning over $100,000 a year paid 5 percent of their gross earnings into a fund for "free health care", it can be done. We've been doing this up here for years.

I'm opposed to UHC.
It doesn't work and it's sure not as good as our health care system. Yes it needs work but it is the best.
We lived in Scotland and while there I became pregnant. I was a high risk pregnancy also. I went to their GP (going to an OB/GYN wasn't an option for pregnancy even though I was high risk) it was like seeing Marcus Welby M.D! (for those of you too young to remember he was like a country doctor) When I went into labor I would have to take the ferry then drive an additional 40 minutes to the hospital (even though there was a hospital not 10 minutes from our home).
Also while we were there a 10 year old girl needed a liver transplant. They found the liver but didn't have a bed for the girl and she died. It sounds good but it's really not.
Also the cost is going to be a hell of a lot more for each working person. Think about it, who is going to pay for this?
Ole Mike (Bore) Moore went to Cuba with some 9-11 workers to show them what great health care they have well guess who gets that health care only those that Castro's government approves of. Ask some Cuban's what their health care is like.

Good point. These days relying on our gov't to do anything efficiently and without pork seems unlikely.

Michael Moore does a great job at giving a-hole publicity hounds like Castro the platform to distort reality. Forget the fact that Cubans aren't free and live in squalor. The story quickly becomes: "Wow, Americans need to go to Cuba to get the health-care they deserve!" Great story - but that's all that it is - a story. Fluff. (Both sides benefitted though, Moore gets publicity for his new movie. Castro gets the brand built up despite the underlying reality). They're both masters at self-promotion and benefitting themselves.

I don't want insurance companies telling me what I need and what I don't need for my health!

Mary Beth:
I couldn't agree more, especially since their criteria is ALWAYS the bottom line.

Will you get three friends to sigh on to our petition?

Thanks,

Jack

We are the only major industrialized country in the world without Single Payer Universal Health Care!

Not having healthcare for all is one more embarrassment for our country. We consume way more than the rest of the world per capita and still have so many people who lack the basics, including healthcare.

Yes John:
We consume more and give less; even to our own needy.

Wont you ask three of your friends to sigh on to our petition?

Thanks,
Jack
