No 'situation' justifies the destruction of an innocent human life!! A child that has already been conceived, should & must be protected & given the same opportunity to it's life as each of us. God's commandment demands it; & the first guarantee of the Constitution ensures that protection; which was carried out until the ignominious 'Roe versus Wade'. That action was criminal! The Supreme Court of our Land is assuming powers it does not legitimately possess! The many dilemas which have befallen America in these years, are a direct consequence to the injustice of abortion; the furthering of it to even clearer infanticide..(partial birth abortion; & then, w/blackmail methods, seeking to extend this gravest of evil, to other countries as well!: the consent to other grave evils, i.e. practised homosexuality, condoned, upheld, furthered; etc. etc. It is the responsibility of our leaders, & our citizens, to bring our laws
& our behavior, back into conformity w/the laws of Almighty God, Who is Sovereign over His Creation; & to the true compliance w/our Constitution & Bill of Rights, which declared that this Land would stand against Tyranny, & for the 'inalienable' God-given rights of justice, mercy, & 'right', (not licentious) freedoms, which do not selectively trample on some individuals (the unborn child!); while granting them to others. And, I protest, as an American whose allegiance is to God first, & above all human 'interests', to have my tax dollars support that which is grievously unjust, unmerciful, & in direct disobedience to Almighty God!! We do not obtain any good when we embrace Evil! Indeed, we lose the 'light of clear reason' in all matters, & are firmly on the Road of Self Destruction. Is it time for the Boston Tea Party again??? Very true! I'm ready for another Boston Tea Party! lol. It is sad how much this country has changed from it original greatness... and in the name of protecting its Traditions! It just goes to show how ignorant we have become! The populous no longer knows what goes on in the world. They take one bias and never test it to see if it is true. The masses are clinging to bedtime stories and myths just so they don't have to confront their own accountability or the idea that there may be a God out there who wants something from them... it's just too bad they don't realize what He gives back in return for everything we give Him. Will the ignorance ever end? Will people ever start studying and thinking for themselves? Probably not, but I'm going to do my best to stop this blatant ignorance.
scenario: lets say your daughter was raped, and got pregnant, would you want her to give birth to a child of a criminal, give birth to a child who will never meet his/her dad? Or, your daughter was only 13-14, and got pregnant, would you want her to give up her education to raise a child and be a deadbeat mother? or would you like her to have the same opportunity as the other kids in school have and get an education and go to a college or university? People look too far into this topic. it is what it is, it should not be illeagal, it should be the mother's choice. Quite frankly, I would hate for someone to make that decision for me. Whether the intercourse was rape or conentual, and pregnancy occurs, the mother of the child should have the ultimate choice. im tired of these pro life people bitch about their money and their tax dollars being put towards abortion. just shut up.
There are plenty of other ways to go other than abortion, such as adoption. And I don't see why it is so ludicrous to think that someone who has sex outside of marriage, should have to accept accountability for their actions. The fact is, that even though there are these conditions where it would be difficult for either the child or that mother, killing the child is not the answer!!! I would rather the child be born and have a hard life than it be killed... no matter what a child is born into, it can grow up to be a very successful human being. Killing it certainly won't improve its condition. It IS illegal to murder... someone who is already born cannot legally be killed just because their mother says it's okay, why is it okay for abortion?! And as far as the tax-money, I don't want my money going toward anything that I disagree with! It's one thing to give people a choice, but to give away my money for it is not Democracy. Martin Luther King Jr. started boycotts of the buses because he disagreed with the concept of discrimination, would you have told him to shut up? You make a lot of points that are not very thought out.

yes, but the point is the mother doesn't know who it will be, and you can't punish someone before they even think about doing something criminal. And for the record, I don't think anyone said that here.

I know that what you are saying is false, and with all respect, you came on here to argue; no one tried to vent it to you, you accepted the fact that there would be debate when you came on here to add your input. So, if you don't mind, let's keep this to intelligent debate and not just bash things without any facts or reasonable thinking.
I do not want the repeal of the Mexico City act to use government money to do aboritions. I also feel stronglt that Drs.nurses, hospitals, pharmacists should have freedom of conscience when it comes to destroying human life. If FOCA passes the congress I pray that president Obama will veto it. We are guaranteed the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The Negroes have been emanciated, now let us emanciate preborn babies.
