Superman fans want more Lois Lane on Smallville1019 Signatures
Intended Recipient:Showrunners of Smallville, President of the CW network, President of DC Comics, President of Warner Brothers Description:As faithful viewers of the CW series Smallville we have spent 7 long years waiting for Clark Kent to grow up and be at a point in his life where we can see him getting ready to become Superman the greatest Superhero ever. Everyone knows that from the beginning there has been one woman at Clark Kent and Superman's side and that is Lois Lane. Erica Durance was brought onto Smallville in season 4 and provided Clark with a sounding board, an ongoing challenge and a kind of friendship he had not previously known on the show. The banter and fun that is Lois and Clark has been one of the highlights of the last 3 years of the series though any fun was in short supply in season 7. As the series gets ready to wrap up we encourage you to please make use of one of your greatest assets on the show and the greatest love story of all time- bring Erica onto the show for more episodes this season and put her growing friendship and importance in Clark's life front and center on the show. One Tree Hill has successfully grown up their show and their characters it is time for Smallville to do so as well. The best way to do this is use Erica and her talents and let us all enjoy watching Lois and Clark grow up in the next season so that we can all feel confident that they will be the Lois and Clark we all know and love when the series is over. I don't understand why Lana is made such a major character and Lois such a minor one when we all know that Lana eventually disappears. I think the producers show a lack of creativity in the small part she has in Smallville. If they want to, they can make her a really active part of the cast.

She deserves it! And she needs to interact a lot more with her cousin Chloe! They were a lot of fun in seasons 4 & 5, but in 7 I didn't like their angst about journalism. LOVE Erica!

Please, it's been four years. You can not tell the story of Clark Kent and Superman without Lois Lane, she has been an enormous part of the mythology for the last 70 years and counting. I know that there are fans of other characters out there that want Smallville to devote it's self to their stories, but in the end they are just periphery to the main thrust of what is the heart of the iconic story of Superman, the love between Clark Kent and Lois Lane. And you really can not have that without more screen time devoted to both their story and that of Lois Lane herself. So please, give those characters the screen time they need for this series to fulfill it's potential, have Erica Durance in more then 13 eppisodes, the story needs her there to be properly told.
