Description:

We all want the best for the furture generations of our scoiety, but how can we ensure the best for their future if we fail in providing them with the basic knowledge of how to care for themselves as sexual beings?

I believe that we are doing a grave disservice to our youth of tomorrow when we send them out into the world of relationships without proper education regarding such issues as pregnancy, STDs, and communication. This does not mean that we are not advoctaing abstinence and waiting for a more mature time in a young adult's life for sex to occur; instead it implies that sex between young individuals will happen REGARDLESS of what is taught and enforced upon them, therefore it is imperative that they be taught how to keep themselves safe if they do engage in sexual activities.

When you take a stand for this campaign you take a stand for the access of information and knowledge for our young adults in regards to expresing their sexuality in a safe and consenual manner.

I completely agree. No wonder there are so many issues with sex such as teenage pregnancies. It answers the all important question, where did I come from that so many ask and it helps a lot of young people realise that sex is a mature activity and should not be taken lightly. I do not agree with a lot of religious schools who do not have Sex Ed' and soley teach about, for example, abstenance. If they insist on teaching young peple about things like abstenance, teach them about sex aswell so they won't have to "experiment" prematurely to actually know what it's like and how it works.

Get the degenerate Moral Majority out of the bedroom. Harm reduction strategies - such as an adequate sex education programs save lives where enforced ignorance and religiously based misinformation kills. This is nowhere more evident than in the Church sponsored genocide by AIDS in Africa. As to sex education, I reckon we need to take it one step farther and start teaching Sacred Sexuality! Sacred Sexuality is the recognition that through loving and energetic sexual practices, such as Tantra, we can become closed to God and Goddess. Get over your monotheistic narcissism, grow up psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually, and join the 21st century.
Blessed Be,
