Description:This petition is to bring awarness to the Support of Michael Vick and his mis-representation in the media The media has made it seem as if Michael Vick is an evil non-sympathetic human being and gave the assumption that he has little or no support. They seemed to focus and thrive on the negative and the humiliation of Mr. Vick. However, the media failed to tell you about the many churches Mr. Vick funded in his home town of Virginia. They neglected to mention how he gave back to his college of Virginia Tech to help support the education of the rising and upcoming students. They failed to let you know about any of the good deeds Mr. Vick has contributed. They failed to make the public aware of the many charities Mr. Vick contibuted to, they forgot to let the public know about the lady that was in a store with her children during the Christmas season that couldn't afford to buy her kids Christmas gifts and Mr. Vick, not knowing the lady, nor did the lady know who he was, reached into his pocket and gave the lady an undisclosed amount of money so that her and her children could enjoy the holidays. They failed to mention that Michael Vick brought a city back alive and brought in a great amount of revenue to the City Of Atlanta. They failed to mention Mr. Vick made fans happy and eager to attend the football games. Once again, they failed to state that Michael Vick was the ONLY player Atlanta had to sell out the Dome. How is it that Michael Vick's case is so highly profiled by the media, and you hear nothing of relevance that needs the media attention like the GERNARLOW WILSON case OR the JENA SIX...don't they deserve the type of media coverage Michael Vick had/has? This petition is to show that Mr. Vick is not a bad person he just got caught up in a bad situation and how the media can portray even a human being as nothing more than an animal! We all support Mike and we agree that dog fighting is wrong...but does this warrant the unfairness and the hatred some of these 'Animal Right and 'Humane society' protestors are demonstrating? The way they are promoting the hatered and violence towards Michael is what the media needs to be looking into...these people are filled with HATE And Violence...and isn't violence what they're protesting against? or does that just go for animals and not humans! Violence is Violence...so let's be fair! there have been far more serious crimes (not to down play dog fighting) that have, and still are going on in the world... that have gotten less media attention and less jail time! We ask that you consider his good deeds when making your determination. Give him his job back! Loading People... |

While I understand your continually restated agrument, we again come back to the fact that BAD BEHAVIOR IS BAD BEHAVIOR! I don't care who you are, how much money you make, what color you are, what sex, or language you speak. We in this society need to STOP making EXCUSES for BAD BEHAVIOR. You say stop beating a dead horse. As a children we are all suppose to be taught right from wrong. As adults if we do not stand up and say this is fundamentally wrong than how do we ever expect the children to believe us or learn. The healing and forgiveness process that you so like to throw around begins for him in this situation with TAKING FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS ACTIONS. That does not mean, yeah I plead quilty because all my buddies folded around me. As I recall he stoutly proclaimed his innocence until his cohorts plead guilty. That is not the action of a man accepting responsiblity or being humble. Where did you even come up with the death penalty? That is a ridiculous statement.
BAD BEHAVIOR IS BAD BEHAVIOR NO EXCUSES.
And yes each and everyone of us on this planet will ask for and need forgivness. Contrary to what you might believe I ask for it daily. But forgivness is a word we throw around like a bandaid. True forgiveness comes when honest responsibility is take, consiquences are accpeted and humillity is displayed. There will always be something worse that some one else has done. That is a truly unique human behavior but I am talking about and discussing this abhorant situation.

O Lord please help them not put a bullet in my head...
I pull up in front a lit house, the white lady comes out to see whats goin on! I almost cry but not this time.
I answer all their questions in da deepest voice I could. No stress my momz is on the phone pig, her address might be next to yourz! See I might be in the white part of town but my momz n popz worked hard for everything they got. Thats right my zip code is the one rite around da corner, so before you shoot me like an animal. did you eva ask if I was a female or a NIGGA????!!!!????
True story that occurred to me in one of the most racist cities I eva lived in. I talked like a black man, kept my hoodie on my head and as soon as the pigs gave me three tickets. I pulled off the hoodie off and revealed I was a female and I asked them the following questions: (in a sexy female voice of course)
"Sir, now tell me the real reason you pulled me over? Is it because I had loud music bumpin? Or was it because you thought I was in this neighborhood to sell crack to one of your already cracked out teenagers, or let me guess, you thought Im a black person and I had no business being in this area and so you had to pull me over and make sure I got not 1 not 2 but 3 tickets? Which is it? O by the way your face is turning red and you are secretly attracted to a black female that you once thought was a black man! You dont have to answer sir, you wont be seein me for a min!!!!"
Then I drove off with a sense of accomplishment. Its hard out there for our black men. I know first hand!
Keep ya heads up my brothers especially you VICK, you got a sista right here who is always prayin for your freedom, peace and better dayz

I cannot believe that any HUMAN BEING in there right mind would condone this abhorant behavior by another. I don't care what he has donated. BAD BEHAVIOR IS BAD BEHAVIOR!!! Did his Moma not teach him that? Wake up, Grow up and stop trying to make excuses. Bottom Line it is not right to mistreat, humans, animals, this planet, or yourself. Micheal Vick or Jane Doe, I don't care.
We all as HUMAN BEINGS have a responsiblilty to treat others as we would like to be treated and that is not limited or prefaced by how much money you make or what kind of an athlete you are.
The only ones with hate in their heart are those who mistreat those under their control.

You are absolutely Right...But how long do you beat a dead horse...Do you not think...he has realized that his behavior is unexceptable!!!! do you think he's sitting back enjoying this public humiliation...he's excepted the responsibility...where does the healing process begin? you're right you should not sacrifice, torture, or kill any living creature...I'm a vegeterian and think it's in-humane to kill...CHICKENS, PIGS, COWS, DEERS- which by the way is glorified by hanging their heads over the fire place mantle, DOGS- which they also kill at the Dog races if they don't perform well (the grey hounds)...BEARS, SHEEPS, etc. But I'm a HUMAITARIAN first!!
All i'm asking is when does the FORGIVENESS process begin? Regardless of what some of us may think...DOGS ARE NOT HUMAN!!!! God said put no animal before man!!
Let the man heal...and learn from his mistakes...Let it Go...and let the courts decide...I'm sure you've asked for forgiveness...or someday will...I respect your opinion and agree...but how long should this go on...what more do you want to happen...The DEATH PENALTY...If the answer is yes...Then it wasn't about the dogs in the first place! I've seen harsher crime get less crucification!
The healing process begins in JAIL WHERE HE BELONGS! Why should people feel sorry for Vick? He commited a stupid crime and he is being punished for it. He's the one who wanted all the publicity and fame and now he's got it. It's all his fault. What healing process? You think Vick is really hurt by what the media says by him? And if he is, TOUGH, he deserves all the critisizm he gets.

Has it eva occurred to you that animals are killed like every 12 secs. They are here to die, kinda like humans but humans stick around a little longer than animals because thats the way the Lord intended it to be. Just because I name a dog boo-boo or petey or even chocolate muffin that does not mean it is eva goin to be treated like anything but an animal. Hello wake up whoever you are. These animals are cute but for crying out loud they are here to do what they do. They have lots of babies, they play rough, they die or get killed for food! Look I gotta eat meat one way or the other, and sometimes I think I am eatin dog at the chin chong restaurant down the block from me, but guess what that thang is good! so good luck on ya mission of trying to save these animals. By the way the HUMANE SOCIETY as well as PETA kill like 30,000 animals a year. Care to comment!!!

How old are you sweety? you sound as if you are full of hate...why do you hate this man so? Did you know they kill dogs at the Dog races when they don't perform well, or if they are injured...Did you know in England that DOG FIGHTING is Totally Legal...
But you're right... none of God's creatures asks to be killed...Chickens, Cows, Deers (which is considered a sports and rewarded by hanging the head over a mantle by showing accomplishments) Pigs,etc...which I eat NONE of...I'm a vegetarian and I don't believe in sacrificing ANY animal...BUT I'm also an Humanatarian and I believe in HUMAN RIGHTS and FORGIVENESS...let not your heart be fill with hate...for you will block good things...we all make life changing mistakes...(Unless you're PERFECT) and need forgivess at some point! Stop being judgemental! Let it go...allow this man to move on with his life...I've seen people to do far worst than this to be called a MONSTER!!
Here in Atlanta about three weeks ago... the police raided a dog fighting ring...they dug the back yard and found 4 pitt bull buried in the ground. There was no media coversage, other than the local paper, No PETA, No PROTESTERS...The 4 Caucasians guys were released out on bond!! Come on people...it not about the dogs...it's not about the RACE card...IT ABOUT FAIRNESS AND JUSTICE...FOR ALL!!!

It's a shame...with all the injustice going on in the world...it's amazing how Michael Vick seemed to make National News...Yet you hear nothing about Jena Six...Nothing about Gernarlow Wilson...Since when did DOGS get preference over humans... what Michael was accused of IS wrong...but forgive him...allow him to face his punishment and let the man have his job back!
We've all made dumd decesions in our lifetime or will sooner or later...and we'll ask for forgivness...
