i can do a dark superman with out ruining who he is
i can make his story darker but keep his symbol bright thats what you need and i can do it.

Saddly Dark Knight was a sucsess do to Heath not Batman. If you want to go dark with Superman you have to do it without flawing his character. Which means red Kriptonite. Which is not a bad idea for a character with not alot of dimension. WB I have ideas if you want them but they are not free. Please contact me if you would like a fan opinion. Last Superman movie was for Richard Donner not the fans which I agree with every choice Bryan Singer made.

Superman gets picked on all the time, it's time to fight back already! Dark doesn't have to be bad, just vengeful!

the problem is that the superman franchise as whole has failed the newest film was a wash out with far to many improbable ideas like superman fathering a child any comic fan worth half their salt knows this is impossible. he would destroy a human during the act and probably blow a hole clean through them... leave the superman idea alone and work on some of your other titles please why not bring back the flash or try using some of the other characters which have done well over the years. maybe ones that marvels version of hasnt already been done.

Superman is the first superhero, and all others descend from him. If you taint the icon, you taint all those below him. The "lower" superheroes have all gone dark at one time or another, but there was always Superman's example to bring them back to the light. Someone has to be the Rock of Gibraltar, the ideal others strive for, and that Rock, that ideal, is Superman. Maybe he can get so pissed off enough so that you see that he wants to kill Luthor or something like that, but his pulling back from the brink is what makes him Superman.

Please just dont do this. They kinda did a dark side to Superman in Superman vs Doomsday and that just disturbed me. Please dont ruin Superman.

Superman might not be dark..yes.. but its not really such a bad angle if you think about it. I mean in Superman 3 he did go a bit bad and had a double persona. On top of that shows like Smallville have shown a more "darker" side to clark kent, which hasn't lasted long but has changed the appeal of it. In Batman The Dark Knight, he didn't exactly choose to go dark, he did it to protect what Harvey Dent represented to the Gotham City. I'm sure if people in WB want to go with this angle, if they think about a great story line, it will make a good movie..but it HAS to be a GREAT story line for it to work. Why not use Red Kryptonite in it or something. I'm a big Superman fan and would love to see another movie on the big screen soon.

Superman is NOT dark. His appeal is his strength...Not just physical strength, but strength of character. Jonathon and Martha Kent didn't raise a vigilante. There are plenty of other superheroes they can explore. Why don't they just move up the next Batman movie, if they're into the darkness?

I mean a dark superman? Im sure it will take a lot of plots and scenes and to be continudes to bring him back and out of it...Just like Spider Man...He turned black for a while..He loved the power..Like Jean Grey from the X-MEN...Turned into the Phoenix and just didn't understand.Like even Batman once got messed up in the comics and turned evil for a while because of the Joker or something or someone was part of that...
If they create a Dark SuperMan...Batman better hold on to his cape because we know Batman will have a part in this... I don't think even kryptonite will affect the Evil Superman...But I know Batman can come up with something... People... PEOPLE!! VOTE FOR THE DARK SUPERMAN" IT"S FOR OUR OWN ENTERTAINMENT.

I think DC and the Superman Franchise are gonna go for it...We are in our last days...Even SuperMan can fall sometimes...It's not gonna be SuperMans' fault.It's just gonna be something that he was affected or infected by...That will take over his senses and being... well, we did kind of see a torn superman in one of the movies. i think it would be interresting to see just how far dc will let it go. A dark superman hell yea two thumbs up

NO DARK SUPERMAN!

One of my favorite comic arcs I believe involved the CSA, Crime Syndicate of America. You want a Dark Superman? What about Ultraman and Owlman and Superwoman? How about a whole movie with the dark counterparts of the Justice League?

Why not superman, he has been good since he was thought up way back when. Its time to let the world see the dark side of Clark Kent/Superman, I would be really interisted to see how he comes out showing his dark side to the world.

So, has anyone actually read the history of Superman's family, his ancestor Erok-El conquered all of krypton, and united them under one banner. Why not let this same thread follow into another movie where Superman attempts to conquer the world and unite it under his leadership. I know this has been done by superman whilst under control of a magical being.....but what if he chose that path on his own...

There is a dark side to superman. He was lucky to be discovered and raised by the Kents because they beat him over the head with goodness and purity, but that in no way means that he's all goodness and light. He clings to those ideals and beliefs because he's afraid of what he is capable of. He's the most powerful being on the planet. He's practically unstoppable and the smarter characters in DC's universe know this. No one, even Superman is untouched by darkness. I'd like to see this side of him explored, and let fans get a little more insight on how hard it is to live the life of Superman... and Clark Kent.

Having a Dark Superman would ruin the very nature of him. It would only mean that DC is selling out and they would be copying the essence of Batman. And it would mean that they are running out of ideas.... But, you could pull this off IF Superman had an evil twin. Then that could work.

think about it. they dont call superman boyscout for nothing. making a dark superman is changin the whole essence of his story. We all know comic books sell out a little bit to make big movies, btu a dark superman would ruin it, and lose alot of true comic book fans that are the main supporters of these movies.

with the changing meaning of "the american way", i could possibly see a superman film along the lines of frank miller's superman vs batman series in which supes becomes a tool and batman has to lay the beat down to make him realize that. as far as the american public accepting this idea as a movie...doubtful. people don't go to watch superman to think, they go to be inspired

I think, a dark superman would be kick ass & if you ask me, he should be a little more like batman. but, don't get me wrong; I could care less about superman on the fact that he's such a boyscout. but, if he was darker, then I might get enjoy him better.

I think it would be pretty cool to see another side of superman's story. In my opinion id like to see it come true, but I know not everybody feels the ssme way.And I doubt the the public will react to superman going "dark" like batman did...
