The Hobbit is rad.  Peter Jackson is rad.

i'd love to see the Hobbit movie by P. Jackson as all we have now is some old cartoon and we know Jackson's ability to let Middleearth come alive.

Peter Jackson should definately do the Hobbit, i know LOTR took alot of time and wore him out, but think Jackson, having the experience of creating another tolkein adventure. A chance to team up with all the people that helped with LOTR, Richard Taylor and the Weta Workshop, Weta Digital, tje cast of lotr, another mission for peter and fran, however they got Halo coming up :(, i hope that they find the time to return to the magical production of a middle earth saga x

No one but peter jackson can be director every one else has no knowledge of the books backround and therefore can't be a good director. WTF

There is no one else with the  passion or knowledge on how to bring The Hobbit to life other than Peter Jackson.  Using anyone else would be criminal.

i don't know, sometimes its just better when there's no movie to go with the book. sometimes it ruins the whole story.---not saying that Peter Jackson's not the best director ever!

Peter Jackson is the only Director with an infinate imaginary mind compacity to recreate the Hobbit with real characters as I've seen in trailers!

i think this is a great idea but they should have made the hobbit first like in the book

Hobbit needs to be done,cant wait.The Lord of the Rings was amazing more movies like that need to be made.

yes it would be awesome if you made the hobbit, and im also a huge tolkien fan and id love to see it but, imagine how hard the silmarillion would be to make? dragons, hundreds of cast members, massive special effects, eg, downfall of numenor, or any of the major battles. It would be an awesome feat but if they did it wrong it would forever scar the memory of the book

It would be amazing to see Bilbo and Thorin Oakenshield and all the creatures of this first adventure

I heard a long time ago that Peter Jackson doing "The Hobbit" is a real possibility. I keep going back to "New Line Cinema" and checking. I agree with all the fans. The Hobbit needs to be done again, and done with the same flair as with "The Lord of the Rings"  and who better than PJ? Also, one better would be the release of "The Silmarillon" the pre-lude to them all. And, I pray he will be able to get the actors/actresses from his movies to make their fans proud once again!!
