In honor of the 70th Anniversary of the Hobbit, we the undersigned, would like Peter Jackson, director of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, to return for the filming of The Hobbit.
It is the first fantasy book I ever read, it deserves to be on screen. I have been waiting for the hobbit come out ever since the LOTR, wich is on of the best.
It would make sense for PJ to film The Hobbit, as essentially it is part of the LOTR set. It would help to keep the feel of middle earth consistant. I will be there to attend the first screening here in Wllngtn.
I bought all of the collectors editions of the lord of the rings trilogy and even got the collectables box to hold them all in. I'd LOVE to see you make the hobit movie to make my collection complete. It's kind like star wars where the middle stories were released first then the intro stories were released. YOU CAN DO IT!
Lord of the rings was an amzing trilogy and for me peter jackson is a genius. I also like his earlier stuff like bad tadte or braindead...so please make the hobbit , no one can do a better job than you !!!
Peter, you are a real mage, if we speak about LOTR movies, not better than Gandalf, but almost. Please do this new movie, I will be there in the cinema, that is pretty sure!
The Lord Of The Rings was the most amazing film trilogy. Only Peter Jackson could make this movie and there is a huge audience guaranteeing money back on investment. But investment be damned, what happened to making films for the art of film advancement - Peter Jackson does that too. Please do it Mr Jackson. (By the way - can I be an extra???)
Absolutely make the movie. I can't wait to see Smaug the Terrible come to life on the big screen. While you are at it, have a go at the Silmarillion as well. The more movies that you produce in the realm of middle-earth the better.
I am eagerly waiting for this movie. Although, I have the original cartoon version of the Hobbit, I still am very much looking forward to the movie being done by Peter Jackson. He has done such a beautiful with Lord of the Rings trilogy, it would logical for him to do The Hobbit, as well. Keep me posted on the progress.
