Description:
BBC announced that Matt Smith will play the next Doctor on the popular show Doctor Who. Do you think he will live up to the other Doctor's legacies, or do you think someone else should have been given the role?

I've never seen Matt Smith in anything before, but then I never saw David Tennant or Christopher Eccleston before either and both were great. Sometimes it's best to get an unknown. (Although I was hoping that somehow they could bring in John Simm as the new Doctor. He made such a great timelord.) The heads of the show are excited about this new guy, and I have faith in them.
Not sure but I think after David Tennent anybody they cast would have been a disappointment as I thought he was the best doctor.
Started his acting career in 2006? I don't see how he can possibly pull it off following the last 2 actors playing the Doctor. I am disappointed, but will reserve judgment. The latest Doctor Who stories started out very much an Action/Drama/Adventure feel and have been drifting away into fun for kids. So sad.
I loved the last one he lived up to his acting ability and I'm sure the new one will do just as well,we'll just have to get use to him after watching the other doctor for so long, no problem with me I love the show doctor who and I'm sure his acting ability will be just fine!
