ok so there are heaps and heaps of good books or series's of vampire books out there but i was just wondering what are other peoples favourites?

i read a vampire book called vampire of the mist...it was the best...could not put it down

I Loooove the Twilight series, but seriously Vampire Academy are just as good!(or better...)

I'd have to say Anita Blake series is my favorite books. Underworld and Coopla's Dracula were the best films, followed by Rices.

i like The Twilight Saga the most but i also like The House of Night series, Blue bloods (and the rest of the books), vampire academy(and the rest of that series, and more...

House of Night Series are great. (Marked, Betrayed, Chosen, Untamed)
Hunted comes out 3/10/09. So excited. :))

I haven't read the Twighlight series, but I love Tanya Huff's Blood series and Smoke series. (Also her other books, but they don't have vampires in them. Although one does pop in briefly in her Summoning series, which is also excellent.)

Lifetime TV had a vampire series for two seasons called "Blood Ties" which was based on characters from Tanya Huff's "Blood" books (starting with "Blood Price.") Her "Smoke" series has Henry & Tony from the "Blood" series (a vampire, and a human who is discovering new talents with magic.) The "Summoning" series is a whole new ball game about a Keeper (one of those folks who keeps our universe in order.)
